Redmi 1S "4.3 JLS36C" / MIUI-JHCCNBD23.0 can I update?

Hi, can I update my Redmi 1S with "4.3 JLS36C" and "MIUI-JHCCNBD23.0" with a new MIUI 6 or 7?
I found so many threads and so many instruction that now I'm lost....

There is a guide with fastboot and MIUI 7 but I have OSX so I can't install the windows fastboot driver http://forum.xda-developers.com/redm...ation-t3187550

Someone can please drive me through?
