Notification led stopped working after digitizer replacement

Hello,


I recently replaced my digitizer and now i got everything back working but i get no notification leds.
Can it be because of the cheap chinese digitizer i used? or did i disconnect / broke somethine while the phone was open?

Text messages over car bluetooth stopped working

I have a 2013 ford c max and I've run multiple 5.1.1 roms on my galaxy s5 and the car would read the texts after recognizing the phone has received it.

i have tried to disable hangouts and use messaging but that won't work cause i can't get many of my text or picture messages... its a great app but missing that functionality would be more impressive.

Has anyone else come up with issues like this and if so any apps that will solve this.

Touch screen stopped working

I ran with the phone this morning, got a drop of sweat on it and now the touch screen isn't working at all with fingers. It works fine with the S-pen. I have ran and worked out with every phone I have had many times getting sweat all over them and never had an issue. Can't believe a drop or two of sweat would kill this touchscreen.

Anyone had a similar issue?

[SPRINT L720T Spark] "Unfortunately X has stopped" - rom flashing & factory restoring

My phone: Samsung Galaxy S4, Sprint L720T "Spark"

So, having enjoyed a rooted phone, I tried to clear up some space by using Titanium Backup to remove the Google Books/Newsstand etc. services. Every once in a while, I had been getting "Unfortunately, Google Play services has stopped." I using Titanium to restore them from a backup, but then I started getting various Google processes stopping intermittently. I used it to restore a couple more, and then it was happening all the damn time.

Screw it, I thought, I'll just restore the phone. Nothing changed. Then I thought I'd reflash it. I reflashed it with L720T_OD2_Stock_Rooted_Rom.zip (copied it on the microSD, went to the System Recovery screen, went to apply update from external storage, selected the zip file). However, doing so nets me still service after process which have stopped working "unfortunately." I can't figure out what to do. Any help?

I googled and searched threads, but it seems that most people aren't starting from a fresh flash or accidentally used the wrong ROM, but I don't think that applies to me.

Any help?

Settings stopped and force close everytime

Hi;

When i try to open settings it says "settings has stopped" and force closing.

I tried QS's TW based OG4 , OH3 rom
tried alexndr POF3 rom,
tried Aryamod POF3,
tried Audax TW rom.

tried audax kernel, civz kernel, arter97 kernel and stock one.

It happens all the 5.0 base TW roms.

I tried Aurora Note 4 Port never happen.

I opened in safe mode, the same issue !

Stopped Recording Video

I was trying to shoot some video with the Fire phone today (I'm on 4.6.3). I had about 5 videos recorded, when I ran into an issue where I would hit the button to start recording the video and immediately it would stop (with the counter reading only 1 sec). I tried to switch back to camera and then back to video, as well as exit the app, but the problem persisted. Until I restarted the phone, it kept doing this and apparently recorded none of these 1 sec attempts at video.

I would imagine this kind of quirk (as well as the audio routing problem I've discussed in another thread) would be more likely to occur while using a non-stock ROM. Unless I am experiencing some sort of defective hardware issue, I am rather amazed that these issues would happen with the stock FireOS install. I haven't even used the phone all that much for audio and video. At some point I may be tempted to proceed to install CM11, despite it's quirks just to see if these issues would be remedied, as much as I had not wanted to.

Anyone else experience this type of problem?

Fast Charging Stopped?

Got my Note 5 with the adaptive faster charger about 3 and a half weeks ago. On my second Note 5 now (had to send the first one in due to problems) and everything was working fine until a couple of days ago. I would notice my phone saying "charging" and then I would have to unplug and plug it back in then the "fast charging" would appear. Now it doesn't ever go into "fast charging" and no matter what I do I always get "charging". I currently have 93% battery and it is telling me 15 minutes until full which seems a lot slower. I tried using my old Note 4 fast charger and get the same issue.

Anyone else with this issue? Wondering if it's the phone or actual charger and if there is anything I can do to get a replacement.

Galaxy A3 touch back stopped after downgrading from lollipop to kitkat

Hello . I upgraded my A3 (SM-A300H) to lollipop. After a while I wanted to return to kitkat because lollipop freezes too much . I have downloaded the kitkat official rom for a300h and then wiped cache and data. Everything is OK but the touch back button and the task view button not worked. after that I reflashed the lollipop rom and worked again . How can I downgrade to kitkat without any errors and the touch buttons working?

My nexus stopped vibrating

Hello!
I just realised that my phone does not vibrate anymore at all - not when I recieve a call nor when I recieve a notification of any sort. It doesn't even vibrate when I'm setting the volume to vibrate mode with the rockers. I checked the profile and it is set on Default just like always (I haven't touched any profile settings ever). I downloaded a massage app and even with it running the vibration motor doesn't work at all. I haven't ever dropped or hit my phone in any way, it just randomly stopped vibrating. Do you have any suggestions on how to fix this issue? I'm running the latest CM 12 nightly build with a stock CM kernel (I have some doubts that it might be causing the problems) and have been running the nightlies even before the issue.

Power Button stopped working properly

Hello, my power button stopped functioning properly after my device lost connection with my phone several times. Since then my power button doesn't react when pressed. However, long press works 50% of the time, so I can turn it on/off, but I can't double press the button to open an app or turn off the screen for instance. It's really strange. I haven't dropped or physically damaged the watch. I tried hard resetting it 3 times, but that didn't fix the issue. Everything on the watch works apart from the power button. The phone charges perfectly. Any ideas? Do you think this could be caused by a software or mechanical thing?

Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Data stopped working

I rooted my phone the day I got it and it worked just fine with everything.

But for two days now, all of a sudden, the data stopped working. It only appears to be functional (icons and stuff), but it doesn't actually work. All necessary options are checked, APN is fine.

I have tried everything, including a factory reset - still no joy.

To top it off, I can't flash anything on it, my PC won't see the phone if it's turned off... :(

Anyone encountered this problem(s)? Any solutions? Thanks in advance!

[i9505] back button stopped working

hi, I have an i9505 which I recently restored to stock (I previously had cm12.1). I flashed germany 4.4.2 kitkat and it worked fine.
I did all the updates using OTA, which at the end updates the phone to 5.0.1. Now I have the latest version (XXUHOH2), but I noticed that the back button doesn't work anymore, it doesn't even light up when I press it. The menu button works fine instead. I factory restored the phone through official recovery but it didn't change anything. Is it possible that the back button suddenly stopped working after I updated to the latest version because of an hardware failure, or is it a software problem? The phone hasn't dropped off the table once, and even with the first lollipop update the button worked.

some apps doesn't work (unfortunately app has stopped)

hi.
so i got my zenfone 2 yesterday and it's now rooted/bootloader unlocked and i've installed Paranoid.
everything is working good right now.
but there's only 1 problem.
some apps won't open and they give "unfortunately app has stopped" error.
i think this problem is app related.cause i downloaded Chrome apk and installed it and it gave me this error.
but then i uninstalled it and downloaded it from play store and now it's working.

so is there some app that doesn't work on this phone? (i wanted to use "MGS V: THE PHANTOM PAIN" but it doesn't open.can someone confirm that it's the app problem and not mine?)

Greenify auto-hibernation constantly being stopped

Hello everyone,

My Greenify constantly shows the auto hibernation being stopped message. I check every app and don't find any third party app that can kill apps. My device is Samsung s6 edge, rooted with xposed installed. I use boost mode in Greenify. I'm now wondering if it is killed by the android system? But some of my apps can keep running all the time, so maybe this issue is related to Greenify only?

s pen stopped working

hello every one its unfortunately i ve had to ask for help as i ve gone all over the internet for my problem but there seems to be no fix for this
as i ve seen in sum other forums there has been number of people with the same issue

this all happened after i went to sweet rom, was on stock before that, s pen was fine ( i did post in the sweet rom asking anyone else had the same issue) .
soon as i would take the s pen out the phone would crash and restart again . i don't use the s pen much so didn't get around fixing the issue this is about 2 months ago since the problem started .
now i want to sell my phone for the note 5 i thought i better fix this issue .
i thought try another Dr kretan rom to see if the issue got fixed but unfortunately no it didn't, now the s pen menu comes out when pop out the spen , but no writing or hovering .... i cant get back to stock rom ( unroot) cause the firmware update via odi fails (<ID:0/004> hidden.img
<ID:0/004> FAIL!) which is another issue altogether :(
maybe downgrading to kitkat might fix the issue ?

can anyone help me with this issue ( i am pretty certain its a software fault don't think it be hardware as was working fine on the stock rom )

Hello everyone.....I have rooted Xperia E ss.
I was freezing some apps using Link2SD..... I froze almost all apps.
After some days I factory reset my phone.
It's not reading memory cards nor internal storage.
Can't connect using usb also.
It gives two errors "unfortunately, com.sonyericsson.usbux has stopped" and " unfortunately, the process.android.media has stopped" when usb is connected.
So many features like in setting when we oprn apps or theatring and hotspot setting stoops working.

I have tried reflashing it but it also didn't work.
Someone said format internal storage...but I can't connect my phone then how to format it ..:confused::crying::crying::crying:

m8 camera just stopped working.

Hey,

I have a m8 and recently the camera app just does not work. I tired factory reseting, clearing data and chace...trying safe mode and the camera cannot load. In snapchap, the rear camera works but only the top camera used for distance so it's essentially dead. The selfie and main rear camera just don't work. I don't know what's up.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Setup wizard stopped working

why am i getting forced closed at setup wizard? i am not new to flashing roms but i am new to N6 and i have never got this error on my previous device.i tried two roms[RR and AOSiP],on both roms i am getting forced close error. how to solve this error??
