how to force 2g on k3 note running vibe ui 2.8 developer edition?

hi,
i am using the k50a40 version of k3 note and i flashed the k50-t5 developer version of vibe ui 2.8 based on android 5.1. however i cannot set the network mode to 2g. the only modes in preferred network mode are 3g/2g and 4g/3g/2g (4g preferred).

i tried forcing gsm only via *#*#4636#*#* but it doesnt change anything and it keeps staying on GSM auto (PRL).

Is there any other way i can force 2g?

Settings stopped and force close everytime

Hi;

When i try to open settings it says "settings has stopped" and force closing.

I tried QS's TW based OG4 , OH3 rom
tried alexndr POF3 rom,
tried Aryamod POF3,
tried Audax TW rom.

tried audax kernel, civz kernel, arter97 kernel and stock one.

It happens all the 5.0 base TW roms.

I tried Aurora Note 4 Port never happen.

I opened in safe mode, the same issue !

LG G2 F320S Camera Force Close after baseband flash

The camera and flashlight on my F320S have stopped working after I flashed the LP 30H Baseband. I have even started fresh, flashing TOT, the KDZ, then CloudyG2 3.3 and it still doesn't work.

It doesn't make any sense that flashing the correct baseband would cause a hardware issue with the camera and flashlight...

Can you force 3g

My office is at my home. Our area has very poor sevice. I had to get a range extender from Verizon since it is so bad. I have no need for 4g since i have good wireless internet. I don't want to drain the battery with the phone constantly looking for 4g. Does the phone have a setting to force 3g or does anyone know if one of the toggle widgets will work?

That is one of the things i didn't like about my LG G2. You could not turn off 4g. Battery life on it is excellent on it despite the issue.

Saw a few posts on this but no answer. Like the Samsung devices, is there a way to force what band the phone connects on? Like band 12 vs 4 for T-Mobile.

Launcher with Force Touch

Can someone develop a launcher that implements force touch similar to how Apple implements it in the iPhone 6s. I believe this is possible because most android devices can sense the pressure being applied on the screen as demonstrated in an app called "Force Touch Demo" on the Play Store.

Also, Force Touch Demo gives different readings for different devices, so the launcher should be calibrated to that specific device on the first launch.

[Q] How to force EMUI not to add icon background?

Emotion UI cuts icons corners to make it rounded (iOS like) and adds background to every icon, even to these with transparent parts. It tries to pick at least similar color to icon, but still it looks horrible with many icons. Any idea how to disable this feature?

Force install Windows 10 Mobile

Hi everyone,

I have a HTC 8x (AT&T) with 8GB of storage. I was waiting patiently for the upgrade to Windows 10, but from the latest news I have come to understand that there is no such thing as a upgrade support to win10 for this particular phone.

Now I am trying to find some useful instructions here on how to upgrade this phone even though it is not supported on the list.

My question is: Has anyone tried this un-official way of upgrading this phone to win10 mobile, and if yes then how do you get further updates?

How to force shutdown when in a bootloop?

Got into a bootloop on Exodus, and now it just spins at the X splash screen. I tried the hard shut down, but it acts as a reboot. I cannot get this thing to turn off to save my battery. I can't mess with it until tonight. Any help? Never had this problem on any phone I've rommed. Booting into recovery and shutting down is an option, but my question is why does it keep restarting if I was just using the power button?

Hey, I was on 5.1.1 (LDZ22D) with the WiFi mod and intersect's kernel. I got the update notice but I knew I couldn't update, so I flashed stock /system and /boot from stock images on intersect's thread a couple days ago, but now everytime I go to check for updates it says it's updated...

Any way to force it to update? or are there any update images I can flash?

Force recovery mode

Is it possible to force the device into recovery mode to get it back to stock, the stock simply WILL NOT flash and they only thing I can think of would be to get it into that mode to get Keis to flash the stock rom. If I try to flash it in Odin I always get a "Failed (Auth)" error.

How to disable force close messages/dialog boxes?

I would like to disable the message that pops up when an app force closes. I know some ROMs have this feature but I am using CM12.1 and there is not an option.
Can it be done with some other method?
I am using CM12.1 Nightly on my Moto G 2014 - Titan.

Force android wear Update 1.3

Don't know how to flash ota and want to use Android wear 1.3 and this guide will show you how to force update.

• Download app called fake GPS https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...m.lexa.fakegps


• Enable developer mode on


• Tick on allow mock location


• OPEN Fake location and set location to (12.8519685, 74.8503558)


• And reboot you android wear and check for update on you moto 360


• (If that didnt work try reseting you mlto 360 and follow those steps)

Hi everyone! My Venue 7 3740 is not working at all, every time i switch it on, everything just stops, like it should dialogues saying "Launcher has stopped" "Settings has stopped" "Google has stopped". I cant access the recovery as well through the fastboot. Please help me, i'd very much appreciate it :)

Way to Force LTE Only?

Title says it all. My phone keeps reverting to I Want to Kill Myself speeds when I know LTE and hspa are available.

PRL Modification & Force Roaming

I've searched topics for days and nothing seems to work for the Sprint Galaxy S6....

The problem: In some buildings/locations, my Sprint signal is unusable, but it's not weak enough to roam. I would like to either change my PRL to a custom one that uses say Verizon, or have a way to force the phone to roam when data isn't flowing.

I used to use the app Roam CTRL to force the phone to roam, but it does not work on the S6 Edge.
I tried the ##DATA# menu to change the PRL, but there is no PRL Write option in my version. There was a MOD here:

that added PRL Write to the DATA menu on S4's, but this didn't work on my S6. It actually broke the DATA menu, but luckily I had a backup of the apk.

I could use the CDMADevTerm windows program to write a PRL to the phone (haven't tried it, but I do have my MSL) but I want something that I can do on the fly when I'm away from the computer.

Any other ideas/solutions?
