how to force 2g on k3 note running vibe ui 2.8 developer edition?

hi,
i am using the k50a40 version of k3 note and i flashed the k50-t5 developer version of vibe ui 2.8 based on android 5.1. however i cannot set the network mode to 2g. the only modes in preferred network mode are 3g/2g and 4g/3g/2g (4g preferred).

i tried forcing gsm only via *#*#4636#*#* but it doesnt change anything and it keeps staying on GSM auto (PRL).

Is there any other way i can force 2g?

Vibe porting?

Sir I am trying to port vibe from over 2 weeks.... But I always get stuck on bootlogo... I don't know what to do... Plz someone shortly tell me how to do it...

My device is micromax a116 and I want to port vibe 2...

Bricked Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro / K920

I was trying to fix a camera issue while on holiday with my phone but accidentally wiped some partitions during the rewrite of my rom my dad pulled the cable out and now my phone is totally unresponsive. If I plug it into my windows 10 laptop I get a device descriptor request failed error and I am unable to fix it. From reading an article on androidbrick I would post a link but I don't have enough posts it looks like it should show up as a com port but it does not for some reason all the drivers are installed and I have tried forcing the driver onto the device and it won't accept them. The fix I need is a way to get the com port to display so I can reflash and program the bootloader. I am still on holiday so currently have limited equipment basically the phone, usb cable and my laptop and sometimes wifi.

Any help would be appreciated a this issue is driving me crazy. :crying:

Porting Vibe

When porting VibeUi, do I have to take any specific step apart from ordinary Rom porting?

P.S: I have ported many Roms. Now porting vibe 2 from Lenovo s920 but not getting further from the boot logo.
