Finger touch area to small?

So I tried to update TWRP and it said unsuccessful because I probably had the latest version. (Using TWRP manager) Then a box popped up asking if I wanted to boot into recovery, I hit ok because I had to install something.

When it loaded it was stretched out and I ha had to touch above the buttons to use them. Figuring it was just TWRP being silly I rebooted and now the whole phone is doing it. It's like the area it registers touch was shrunk. The pen works fine, and that's how I'm typing this now.

Any ideas on what happened/how to fix it? I've tried rebooting a few times, and changing the dpi.

galaxy note 2 touch screen problem

Hi every body so it's in the title it's started when i was useing cyanogenmod rom 5.1 on my phone rooted and CWM recovery on it the touch screen gone crayz with touch every where, after a reboot the touch screen don't respond any more just sometime if i push hard it goes, i did a factory reset and returned to a original rom + root + CWM it worked for 2 days and the problem comes back, so now after many trys i found that when i rom and install a recovery it work for a while and the problem return so i think that it's not a harware problem, so if someone can help me to find the source of the problem and to solve it.

help updating touch firmware

hello guys ...i have lg g2 sprint ls.... 980 after updating zvd to zve..my phone touch is not working properly...phantom touches ...random selection...are occuring...i have searched...and found touch firmware update might help.....but problem is there is no touch firmware update option....in hidden menu..
there are following options....
device test
elt test...
factory reset
log service
wvdrm services
there are suppose to be a hw device test menu......in which touch firmware can be updated...
or any other solution to get touch working....
.though i have also flashed back to zvd...but now nothing is working.....even not on lolipop....custom roms...zvc...
....tried every thing but problem exists

Touch screen stopped working

I ran with the phone this morning, got a drop of sweat on it and now the touch screen isn't working at all with fingers. It works fine with the S-pen. I have ran and worked out with every phone I have had many times getting sweat all over them and never had an issue. Can't believe a drop or two of sweat would kill this touchscreen.

Anyone had a similar issue?

Touch problem while charging.

I am encountering a problem from a few days.
My touchscreen doesn't work while its charging.i think first found it while picking up a call when it was connected to the charger.

It doesn't work even after removing charger,i have to turn the screen off and then on,then touch works,but not fluently.
But it works fine after rebooting.


Anyone else having this problem?I am on stock 6.7.1.0 build(latest one).

Warning: CM11 and 12 don't work with the latest versions of TWRP and Philz touch

The short story: I tried to update from CM11 to CM12 snapshot on 9/1/2015, but every CM based ROM would get stuck at CM boot logo, and this is true with the latest TWRP and latest Philz, along with the snapshot CM recovery provided at the official download page. After downgrading to TWRP 2.6.3.0 at the suggestion of http://forum.xda-developers.com/note...2972922/page32, I got it working.

The long story:

I tried to update to CM12 over the air from CM11. That didn't work, as my philz touch recovery just boot directly back to CM11. It's too quick for me to see the install logs, but there was some error message like "can't install" etc.
So I thought maybe I need a different recovery, since the update notice does say "compatible recovery required" and I saw there is such a recovery in the CM download site.
I flashed cm12.1 snapshot recovery using flashify but I got stuck in a boot loop.
I then flashed the recovery using heimdall and that worked.
I then flashed cm12.1 snapshot using the cm recovery, but that was stuck on the cm logo for at least 4 hours before I shut it down.
I then tried a couple more times and it's the same thing.
I installed other cm11 versions and they all get stuck on the logo (even though I came from cm11).
So I tried a different recovery, the latest version of twrp and long story short it's the same thing with cm roms.
Then I flashed back to philz touch (but I didn't realize that I flashed the latest version) and it's the same thing.
Even after I restored a previous backup, the cm11 rom wouldn't boot up.
At the end I was able to use odin to flash back to stock.
I can also flash rwilco's NE2 based ROM.
I have also tried cyanideL, which is CM12 based and it gets stuck too.

Finally I found the post mentioned above and downgrading to TWRP 2.6.3.0 worked.

Hopefully this post will help someone down the road.

Touch not working on Android apps

So I have a Lumia 730, and touch doesn't work on Android apps since 66. I tried waiting for an update (512 and 36) and, now I did a reset, and still doesn't work...
Anyone can help?

my touch 4g vey hot when charging

mytouch 4g suddenly went hot in my pocket one day, since then its very hot when charging,charges all night, with a fan on it, when unplugged it runs down in an hour, phone so hot cant hold to my cheek. it came with a samsung charger , which i was told was the only charger that would charge it, no it wasnt new when i got it, the other shocking thing is, whenever i connect the micro usb to the phone and plug in the pc, it shuts my computer off !!!, dont know why, some help please.:(

Philz Touch Recovery Question on galaxy S5

Hi I have a galaxy s5, with philz touch recovery.

I recently threw my phone and cracked the lcd screen and now i cant see or touch anything.

I want to recover my files, and I think the rom also busted in the process because I can't open the usb/media on my computer when i turn the phone on and connect it to my pc.

Can someone give me step by step directions on how to get to the "mount usb" option to access your files from the philz touch recovery on to the pc. Like once you press power, vol up, and home key to load philz touch, how many times do i vol down, power, etc to get to mount usb so I can access my files on the phone and transfer them to the pc.

Moto 360 screen not responding to touch

Hi,
A few days ago my Moto 360 start to act weird. The first strange thing which it start to do was changing watchfaces by itself as generating long press on the current one and selecting another without even touching the display. While doing this it is hard to ever do something on the watch. It looks like it is generating touches by itself. Tried to restart, reset a few times nothing helps. The only thing which I've discovered is that after charging the watch it works for like a minute as it should be and after that it start acting the same way again. The screen goes on and off by itself, it opens and closes some apps which I have installed, switch some settings on and off.

If anyone has an idea how I can fix that I would be very thankful!

Touch buttons don't light up

Hi,
I recently bought galaxy tab s t800 and my touch buttons (recent apps and back keys) don't light up when I touch then. The lights are working when I press the power button, so there is no problem with the Leds, but when I touch them there is no light.
Does someone experience the same problem or know how to solve it?

Touch screen works only when I press motherboard

Hi, I've got a problem with my S3 LTE. I have changed full set in my phone. Connected it to the motherboard and there is a problem with touch sreen. Once it works, then it suddenly stops and doesn't work. I tried to change ROM, I have contacted seller of set, because thought that is faulty. He sent me a new one and it is the same problem. When he got the package with that first one, he wrote to me that it works perfectly with his phone. After few weeks with this problem I saw something new today. At the time, when I'm pressing motherboard in red selected area, touch screen works! It is not about the LCD flex, because when try to push this flex it doesn't help me. It works always when I press here, like on image. What is an issue? What could I do? (sorry for my English, it is not perfect)

Here on this picture it is i9300 but it's the same place as in my i9305.

Galaxy A3 touch back stopped after downgrading from lollipop to kitkat

Hello . I upgraded my A3 (SM-A300H) to lollipop. After a while I wanted to return to kitkat because lollipop freezes too much . I have downloaded the kitkat official rom for a300h and then wiped cache and data. Everything is OK but the touch back button and the task view button not worked. after that I reflashed the lollipop rom and worked again . How can I downgrade to kitkat without any errors and the touch buttons working?

ZTE Nubia Z5s Touch Digitizer Problem

I have nubia Z5s with official ROM, here nobody sells ZTE replacement parts so I bought touch digitizer from china and replaced by a local mobile shop. Most of the time touch works fine, no missing area or any problem but it stops working randomly and again works fine by detaching and re-attaching the digitizer connector. I checked for the loose connection, but its seems fine, also hard reset the mobile but no improvement. It happens two or three times a day.
Any help will be appreciated..

Accessing phone files without the touch screen?

Well it happened guys. Through some terrible luck, my phone dropped to the ground, shattering the screen and making the touch functions unusable. There are some photos on it from my vacation that I'd like to save, but when I connect it to the PC it doesn't recognize the device (Windows 10). I also can't unlock my phone since the touch screen doesn't work. So, is there any way I can at least back my photos up without using my phone's menu? Thanks for the help.

Touch and charging problems

Hello i own a Lenovo K3 Note and installed AOSP 5.0 .1 with TWRP about a month ago. everything was perfect until now.. sometimes my touch is not right (sometimes disables a few parts of the screen and i gotta press a lot to actually get a response on that part until it does it again) and i can only charge my phone on a certain position (its not the port which is messed up because when i shut down the phone it will charge on any position). another problem with the charging is that lately it started charging really really slow. it charges about 5~10% an hour.. i have no idea what may cause it and i need your help guys to fix this. i dont know if its the ROM cuz a month ago it was working perfectly.
