Looking for advice on cover protector

My nexus 4 is at the moment broke the back and front screen. I watched a few vids and was led to understand
its a phone that was not made to be dropped, iv learnt that the hard way.

I have ordered a new back and new screen, from Amazon. Back has arrived just waiting on the screen now to start repair, it seems like it could be a DIY Job?

Anyway my main question is because I do not want it to fall and break again. Can anyone advise me on a cover that
will protect it at a price not too high and were are place to buy? Im in Ireland so it would be best to order from a EU site but I am willing to look at getting from ebay or amazon ect.

HELP! Looking for a cheap and good bluetooth controller!

hey guys,
as you can see in the title i am looking for a good bluetooth controller that works flawlessly with our tegra note 7. btw it has to be a 14 button controller like the xbox 360 controller.
the problem is i only found tons of expensive ones like the moga, steelseries or snakebyte idroid controllers and a bunch of chinese controllers which seem to be too cheap and too bad in terms of quality and compatibility.
i just want to play all kind of games (on emulators for most of the time) while i am still able to charge the tablet so i can play longer instead of playing for an hour before the battery goes low.
i found an interesting controller thats called "red samurai v2" that was sold by gamestop. but i can't find this one anymore since it is not available in the online store from gamestop itself. i also can't find it in other stores like amazon or ebay. i googled the **** out this in hope to find at least one that wasn't sold out. i heard the red samurai v2 was extremely good in terms of quality and compatibility for its price (was just about 10-20$)
since i gave up on finding this particular one, i am right at the beginning again.

now i am asking you if you have any good recommendations for some bluetooth controllers that are not too expensive (maximum 25$) but still work as good as any other normal gaming controller on our tablet (like the xbox 360 controller i used to play with via usb OTG).
pls remember: it has to be a 14 button controller just like the xbox 360 controller
very important to me: 4 shoulder buttons (L+R Bumpers and L+R Triggers). because many cheap ones only have 2 bumpers but no triggers.

Looking for info on which version of GAPPS i should use for Shield TV 16GB.

I recently flashed Zulu99's Full Android 1.8 rom on my 16gb shield tv and it loads 5.1 just fine, but after flashing any Gapps i get the same "Unfortunately Google Play services has stopped." message at the welcome screen and after skipping setup and trying to add an account or signing into google apps i get the same message over and over again. Should i use a certain Gapps package for the rom?

What's your battery life looking like?

Looking for clean KK ROM suggestions.

So I just rooted and installed TWRP on my Tab Pro 8.4. Now I would like to install a clean KK, de-bloated and deoxed stock ROM or anything close to it. I see a few of them in the ROM section but it seems they have been either abandoned by the developer or just simply not ready for mass consumption. I use this tablet for work so I can't really afford to experiment endlessly, so I was hopping you guys can suggest a good working ROM or point me in the right direction. Thanks for any help.

HELP... Looking for a T-Mobile LG G2 D801 NANDROID Image in order to unbrick my unit

If anyone could provide me with the above it would be greatly appreciated. I installed BootChanger (navax) and it has placed the phone into the dreaded USB Hub (mode 9025) and based on what I have read, I should be able to just write this image to the LG G2's drive that is exposed to Windows 8.1 using Win32DiskImager or similar utility. I use OSX on my desktop but run a Windows 8.1 VM when needed. Basically, it goes into this mode rather than download mode. So, this is basically a case of No Download Mode, No FastBoot, No TWRP, etc.

Getting new Nexus 6, looking for the most freedom

I'm looking at both AT&T and Verizon services. Ideally I'd like to get a Nexus 6 that could work with both of them, should I decide to migrate. If I get a carrier-specific phone I want to flash it to Google defaults. I really don't like carrier-specific apps or other hooks. And I don't want to have to wait for the carrier to approve an OS version before I get it. I played that game with T-Mobile and never got a single update for Gingerbread, and Verizon had a huge delay before offering 5.1 to Nexus users. I want freedom from their whims.

1) Are there any special technical or business concerns about flashing the phones from either operator? Do any of these companies deny service (anymore) if we dump their company-approved OS?

2) Is it getting too late to just now buy into a Nexus 6? Is there a replacement for this on the near horizon? I don't want to pay full price for hardware that's getting obsoleted by the carrier or Google as I walk out the door. Google already says on their factory OS page that some phones (generally over 18 months old) may no longer be able to upgrade. I think the Nexus 6 is getting close to that line.

3) And given the choice between getting a phone from some third-party, or from the operator, it looks like (because of the age of this device?) some of them are offered for less than US0, but the operators still charge 0+. Are there any do's and don'ts about buying from a third party and then asking one these "big two" companies to use it on their network? I know/believe that for an LTE network we don't need to get an unlocked phone, which only applies to the SIM for GSM. But is there any other way that an off-the-shelf Nexus can be incompatible (for business or technical reasons) with one of these carriers?

Looking for a good daily driver ROM.

I'm rehabbing my old S3 for my wife to use and the first ROM I tried was OctoPop... which is great but has some stability issues (at least on my phone) and I'm really trying to find a trouble free daily driver for her to use. I'm open to suggestions and I'm not fixated on it being lollipop... just very stable.

looking for LG D802 KDZ file for Israel

Experiencing problems flashing a new rom for my LG g2 D802.
After my phone was stuck during instalation of the cloudy g2 2.2 I succeeded to unbrick it and installed an updated lollipop KDZ file I found on the net (using LG flashtool). Although i fitted my phone - the touch screen doesn't work.

Tying to find a KDZ file suitable for Israel OR flashing a new rom, but ....
I cannot enter recovery mode at all. It doesnt work. ( download mode works perfectly).

Any idea how to flash the "cloudy g2 2.2" without entering the recovery mode?

Looking to buy N6

So, I'm finally moving away from the note series after being tired of not have roots. I started looking at N6 which i have questions about before I buy.

My first question is can you root and unlock bootloader on current firmware. I've also read where Verizon is giving N6 user a hard time on activation or this true or can I just take my phone into verizon and get a nano sims card. If I can't I think I can always cut my current sims into a nano.

And will this phone work on Verizon i believe the US carriers are XT1103 correct.

Looking for best ROM

Hello everyone :)
Until yesterday, I was using Custom 4.4.2 ROM. Everything works fine. Notifications + LED, screen wake up for incoming messages, accessible toolbar from all applications.
But one thing was terrifying. Of course battery... I`m using my P780 for, I don`t know, few hours per day on WiFi/3G and Spotify or Internet Browser. And from 6AM to 6PM battery always drop to ~20%.
So yesterday I downloaded some ROMs. After some incidents I finally installed ROM by Warezz37 (4.4.3). But notifications, toolbar and ROM design not spurred me. I decise to install another CN.
I found Vredniiy mod v4.5 from 4pda and it`s something that I`m looking for. Battery is working good, toolbar is accessible, but notifications and their LED and screen wakening for messages don`t works fine. I really like this ROM for design and another things :)
Can you guys send me some ROMs (CN), that runs all of mine requirements? I need fast, light and nice-looking ROM, that runs smoothly notifications (and LED), screen wakening and accessible toolbar for all-screen applications. And of course - BATTERY must be good.

I recently downgraded from lollipop to kitkat NE3 via Odin. I have been up all night trying to make a flashable zip of NE3 to use in safestrap but I admit defeat. Does anyone have a flashable zip of any stock kitkat for the US AT&T i537? I would prefer deodexed but I won't look a gift horse in the mouth... much obliged.

Not anymore. 0.00 + 2 yr. Contract renewal for Note 5 which failed miserably to impress me. 0.00 + 2 yr contract for note 4 which I liked but not 0.00 liked.

Stuck with my N3 for now.
