Verizon Lg GPad 8.3 vk810 loops in software update screen

Well, I rooted my gpad 8.3 vk810 with iroot. OTA pushed a software update and now it just goes thru the software update process but fails to install or reboot. I tried factory reset from recovery but goes right back to attempting to update software. I also tried using lg support tool to update recovery but that fails also. Can anyone help me or is my gpad toast.

Stuck at Team Win Recovery Project at Boot when updating LG G-pad 7.0

Hi, I have an LG G-pad 7.0 v410 that has been rooted with purple drake and I have installed TWRP and Flashify. I stupidly accepted a system update because the tablet is AT&T and I though it was an AT&T update. Anyway, now I am stuck at boot with the Team Win recovery project.. I tried the option Reboot->System but it comes back to the same screen. I see at the mount option that there is an X next to Data, Cache, sdcard boxes but not next to the "System", though I don't know if that is related.

I am really a newbie (obviously!), so if there is any "cure" please explain the steps in detail.

Instructions to disassemble vk810 (Gpad 8.3 Verizon LTE)

I need to replace the screen, but can't figure out the first step of opening it up.

I've seen the instructions for the v500, but the vk810 doesn't have a screw in the SD/SIM slot.

LG Gpad 8.3 (VK810) updating without verizon sim card

Hey

I recently received a verizon gpad as a gift and i would like to update it to 5.0.2 but i cant do it OTA because i dont have the sim card.

Is there a way i can manually download the file and update it myself?
