Looking for advice on cover protector

My nexus 4 is at the moment broke the back and front screen. I watched a few vids and was led to understand
its a phone that was not made to be dropped, iv learnt that the hard way.

I have ordered a new back and new screen, from Amazon. Back has arrived just waiting on the screen now to start repair, it seems like it could be a DIY Job?

Anyway my main question is because I do not want it to fall and break again. Can anyone advise me on a cover that
will protect it at a price not too high and were are place to buy? Im in Ireland so it would be best to order from a EU site but I am willing to look at getting from ebay or amazon ect.

what is the best tempered glass screen protector?

1. thickness. there are 0.2mm, 0.26mm, 0.3mm, 0.33mm, 0.4mm tempered glass in the market. the thinner, the more expensive, the better.

2. transparency. high transparency( up to 99%) is the best tempered glass screen protector. usually, the normal one is 95%-98%.

3. hardness. there are 8H-9H tempered glass screen protector. 9H hardness tempered glass is the best, it can protect your screen preventing scratch by sharp item, such as knives and nail, etc.

4. anti fingerprint and anti oil. usually, normal tempered glass screen protector have little function anti fingerprint or anti oil. the best quality one can keep your screen clean and comfortable.

5.adhesion. the better tempered glass is with good adhesion, it is easy to adhere on the screen. just put the tempered glass screen protector, then press the center of temepred glass, it absorbe on the screen automaticly. however, the bad tempered glass can't make it.

Do you use a screen protector?

I still have the screen protector that came when the phone shipped on the back screen. Do you use a screen protector and if not did the screen scratch easily? Is the rear screen made of gorilla glass like the front or something easier to break?

Screen protector on factory New device ?

I just unpacked my opo2 and See a protector attached to the screen. It looks better than a standard protector for transportation purposes.

So is this normal? Is it glass maybe?

Tempered glass screen protector?

Hi I am in India and am looking to buy a good quality tempered glass protector to use with my redmi 2. I am from India and haven't got any with good reviews on Flipkart and amazon. Can anyone suggest one (preferably you have used it yourself or a friend of yours has). The only prerequisite being that the protector is of correct size and has proper cutouts for the front camera and proximity sensor.

Is there ANY tempered glass screen protector that's great with Note 5??

Ok, I've looked through forums, threads here and there, Amazon, manufacturer sites, web searches... and my takeaway is that glass protectors for the Note 5 are a problem... in particular the protectors don't fully cover the screen (just the flatter part) and there are halo effects. The non-curvature issue can also cause dust to accumulate, apparently, by getting into the edges.

Is there, in fact, ANY really great tempered glass screen protector that does the job?? One that fully fits the curves along of the Note 5's screen, has non-sharp edges, and isn't a headache to install or otherwise deal with? I see the same type complaints whether the glass protector is inexpensive or at the high-price end.

I have a new Note 5 arriving next week, and I'd love to know which are the top choices. Or, because of the curved screen, front side, is this just a holy grail search never to be reached?

Best Screen Protector?

I usually go with the Zagg screen protectors but they do not carry one for the Htc One Mini 2, what would be another good screen protector?

Xtremeguard Tempered Glass Screen protector and bac protector :(

So i got my Xtremeguard Tempered Glass Screen protector and back protector. Highly Disappointed. Halo all around and the film for the back of the phone is cut to big and the the cutout around the camera and heart rate sensor looks horrible. The back film I will have to cut myself so it fits, its just to go between the phone and a case,so nothing gets scratches.

I always used Xtremeguard for my LG G3 , but not for the note5 now.

Best Glass Protector?

I bought a protector off Ebay that claimed to have an oleophobic coating and it very clearly does not!

It fits well and I'm glad to have something on it but I won't be able to stand the smudges for long. Any other recommendations out there before I start playing screen protector roulette?
