Replaced Battery and cradle charger on Galaxy Gear still no charge...

I have tried replacing the battery and the cradle charger on my Galaxy Gear and still can't get it to charge. I have tried using the USB cable trick and opening the cradle and holding the button also, but still nothing. Any other ideas? or is the watch just dead?
