Backup not found

Hi
I had an M8 but yesterday it got stolen, I lost my job so the best I could afford for now was the HTC 626.
I always had the HTC backup enabled in my M8, but when I try to restore the cloud backup in my new 626 it says that there's no backup at all. (and yes, there it was a cloud backup, I always checked up every week to see that my M8 made a cloud backup)
Any help?

Moto G2 No OS Found!

On my Moto G2, I first unlocked the bootloader, then rooted it. Then i factory reset the phone using TWRP, that is wiped all data . After some days, my phone got an OTA update from 5.0.2 to same 5.0.2. After updating, the phone went into recovery mode(TWRP) and then I wiped the Cache. Now it says No OS found in TWRP. I have downloaded a pre-rooted rom(Stock_XT1068_22.21.28-ROM) and tried sideloading it. But it says error opening the package. I want to install any ROM for my device. Help !!!!

Moto G - No SIM found - CM 12 - Lollipop

This is my current device - Moto G Peregrine, XT 1045, currently running on CM 11 (4.4.4) Rooted device.

I upgraded the bootloader from x4110 to x411A.

I upgraded from CM 11 to CM 12. Installed CM nightly (9/18/15) and then GApps (Stock).

Everything went smoothly no problem at all.

The problem was after the upgrades and installation finished.

I was able to log on to wifi - no problem with wifi at all. No problem with any other accessories (camera, etc) at all.

But, the phone would not recognize the SIM card.

Here is what I tries:
1. Cleared dalvik cache and cache from "recovery".
2. Took SIM in and out.
3. Put the phone to Airplane mode, and back to normal.
4. Erased modemst1 and modemst2 using fastboot.
5. Tried to setup APM manually (T-mobile).

No respite. Still get the same error - No SIM inserted.

HELP!!!!!

"no networks found" problem.

hi.

I purchased a fire phone (AT & T unlocked) through eBay.

And I used normally four hours through a firmware update for 4.6.1 (including call and data)

But, unfortunately, as an update to the firmware of ..4.6.4 not normally use (the mobile network itself unusable state.)

Although recognized as a problem of the first firmware and carried by the downgrade version 4.6.3 through the ADB, the problem has not been solved.
Even then downgrade to 4.6.1 version is still not available.

I check the logs through*";dm" command, was able to confirm that awful crash logs are generated.

Is there any way to initialize the fire phone through the adb?
(Factory reset the recovery mode does not help at all.)

Does one have experienced solve this problem?
Current and using a carrier KT in Korea, and another fire phone is seen to be operating normally, USIM is normally available.

The first mobile network operating normally seen as something that seems to be a twist in the firmware update process internally with fire phone.

In summary, the present problem as follows.

1. Normal operation after first being released in the 4.6.1 firmware.
2. 4.6.4. After the firmware Firmware Update is disabled (mobile network unavailable)
3. 4.6.1 firmware downgrade - Mobile network still impossible
4. Select Networks Operator - no networks found

I've found a way to get unlimited T-Mobile Hotspot

I was throttled last month after I went over my 7 GB. I also got the 1 GB warning text from T-Mobile others have posted in this thread. As a MSCE and Cisco network engineer, I wasn't going to tolerate being throttled and monitored. Over the last few weeks, I've been using my networking skills to monitor how T-Mobile monitors packets to figure out how data is going to the mobile or if it's being sent over a hotspot. More importantly, I've been working to bypass their monitoring. I'm happy to announce that I've figured out a way around it.

In initial testing, I've been able to use as much data as I want on both a PC and Android tablet without it increasing Hotspot data (T-Mobile thinks the data is still going to the phone and its data increases instead). There are two requirements:

1) You have to be on a T-Mobile Unlimited data package with either 5 GB or 7 GB of hotspot available.
2) You can not currently be over your hotspot limit and throttled
3) You have to use a VPN on the device you're sending data two. I've tested it with two paid VPN services so far (I'm behind both as I post this from a PC).

Things to do:
a) Test with a a free VPN service (doing this later today)
b) Test with crApple products (need to find a friend with a Mac, iPhone, and/or an iPad...over the years I've convinced everyone I know to switch to Android)
c) Make installers for easy use

I expect release this weekend or early next week. I know everyone wants proof, but I can't post images yet (under 10 post count).

PS: Because I've already had a few PM's asking if I needed help testing. No, thank you. I know it works. I'm currently at over 17 GB of hotspot usage without any throttling or warning texts from T-Mobile even though I got them last month and I know my account is being heavily monitored.

Also, when I said I'll be releasing it soon, it'll be a paid product. I haven't decided on a price yet, but since apps like Foxfi Key and WiFi Tether Router no longer work, it'll be more expensive than them.

Found a way to get PVS and BIN

It took forever and it was hidden in a bunch of code. It wasn't very good, but battery had 15%, and was running hot, so I'm trying again. This is only for rooted phones. Anyways your going to see a lot of junk. Around the 32nd line of code you'll see your PVS and Bin number. Here is mine as an example. Instructions are obviously at the top and you need to restart twice. I'd advise a cool phone before doing this. I've done this hot on my OPO and had a completely different numbers, but I just got root and been trying to find a way to do this for 2 hours. Enjoy and press thanks if you feel I contributed...

contacts not found

for some reason, my corporation sorted contacts are missing from the phone.
Tried the OEM contacts/phone app and 2 others that I used on my HTC M7.
When I look by corporate name, they don't show up. Only by a person who is listed under the corporation. And even that is very inconsistent.
But on web contacts, all seems right.
Is this a phone issue, a T-Mo issue or Android or .......?

Thor2 gives error 84000(0x14820) while flashing L925(RM910), ERR CONNECTION NOT FOUND

I have a L925 (RM-910, Code 059S9S8), it stuck while upgrading to win 10 TP. I used WPRT to revert to win 8.1. Initially, WPRT detected the device and tried emergency driver or something which failed and since then my phone is not detected by WPRT, no response if the power and vol- buttons are held, but windows key flashes randomly.

I tried the un-bricking method mentioned in the original post, at the point where they suggest to uninstall the QHSUSB driver, i uninstalled it and continued the procedure until FLASHING THE BOOTLOADER step. It gave me the subject error and code, i retried several times and found two reasons suggested by people for the said error:
1. Incorrect drivers
2. Incorrect files (.hex)

When i retried the step of uninstalling the QHSUSB drivers, i found out that my system doesn't have these installed nor is my phone detected as QHSUSB device.

I have been trying to find if any solution for the above mentioned error has been stated anywhere but i couldn't find one. I have been trying to flash the bootloader (i am an accountant by profession and i don't even know the ABC of programming and this stuff but i learned quite much when WPRT bricked my L925), the subject error appears every time. I have made my .bin file, my own .hex file, .mbn file all for my model but i am still unable to figure out the real issue.

In the original post of un-bricking L925 without JTAG, it was mentioned that the subject error means that wrong drivers are installed. I am using windows 10 on my laptop, and the drivers available for win 7 & 8 are older than the ones on win 10 and when i try to install the drivers downloaded from the link provided in the original post, i got a prompt from win 10 that NEWER VERSION ALREADY INSTALLED.

I kept searching the forums and found someone mentioned that the subject error also appears due to incorrect .hex files and the also mentioned a way to correct the download-available .hex for my model, so i corrected the downloaded ones and even double checked it with my .bin files and i am now sure that i am using the correct files.

So,
1. My drivers are updated versions of those suggested in the post.
2. My .hex file matches with my .bin file (.bin was created using cmd prmpt and from my model)

I cannot find anyother solution or reason for the error which appears.
Any help or guidance from you guys will be really appreciated.

P.S. After failure on windows 10, I have also tried the whole procedure on win 8.1 and the results were no different.

Hoping to get some guidance or help

WiFi boot loop bug ! found the fix (but i'ts temporary)

When the WiFi is turned ON, As we all know the device will constantly search for wifi networks around it, but the problem is whenever it detects an open wifi network (which requires a sign in via browser) it will immediately go into a bootloop and you will NOT be able to fix it with anything other than going outside that particular WiFi range and force your phone to turn OFF, then restart it again, (remove all cables). and it will clear the Cache since it rearranged the whole icons.

So this happened to me in the Airport and i had to go to an Elevator (Lift) in order to disconnect the phone from the WiFi range (since a metal room isolates all the wireless networks) and i restarted my phone there.

So updating to Android 5.1.1 will NOT fix this bug, and i have to turn OFF wifi before going outside my house, because even when i am driving my car my phone will get into bootloop because somewhere on the road there was an open WiFi network (with browser sign in) and even .1 second is enough for my phone to bootloop.

If anyone knows a fix please discuss it, FYI my phone is NOT rooted and NOT altered in any way, its stock.
