Unable to delete a file from Data partition!

There is a file on my xt1068 with path /data/data/com.google.chrome/app_webview/Cache/8f7f69bc88662934_0 .I am unable to delete this file through any method. It is not visible in es file explorer or any other file manager,i have tried deleting the folder but it fails even after providing root permissions.I have tried deleting it by wiping data partition via TWRP and CWM but both failed.I also tried deleting it using aroma file manager and TWRP's flile manager but no luck.Due to this file i can't create or restore nandroid backup. While installing any new ROM i need to go to the TWRP's file manager and i manually delete all the folder's except the one i mentioned above,to perform a clean install.I have also tried restoring to stock firmaware using fastboot but after installation of rom the file still remains there.
My TWRP always shows this message:"E:Unable to stat '/data/data/com.google.chrome/app_webview/Cache/8f7f69bc88662934_0'
Please help me with this.

How to install apps to system partition and keep them update to save space?

As far as I know one can't re-size the partitions of a I9509... But there is a huge amount of lost space in system partition specially when on a debloated custom ROM.

Therefore I thought isn't there a way to simply install apps to system partition and keep them (automatically) updated there either... Is there a solution for that?
Or any other idea how to use that senseless wasted space?

Thx a lot!

Cannot mount system partition.

My n6 can't mount system partition so i can not change system file permission even i am on rooted rom. I am using chrome sep 1 build and 2.8.7.1 twrp. Any idea please?

Mounting boot partition

I have a Moto X 2013(ghost) and want to mount my boot partition out of curiosity. Either on my phone or my PC. I pulled an image of the partition with dd but I can't seem to determine the type of filesystem in the partition. The file command just labels it as data. Can anyone shed some light on whether or not that partition has a filesystem at all? I'd imagine it would have to then again it wouldn't surprise me if it didn't.

Is there a system partition?

I'm looking to get one of these phones for my wife but she always has trouble with enough storage for Apps. Can anyone tell me if the storage on the Eye is partitioned for the system and therefore restricts App storage?

Of is the 16GB a free for all much like the current flagships.

Thanks!

[Q] Any Roms supporting F2FS partition?

Any roms for Find 7a/s that supports F2FS partition except for Nameless Rom?
I believe that only Nameless Rom supports it, but is there any rom that also supports it? Thanks.

How can I get a stock image back on here?

Partition size changed after install SlimLP but not with ParanoidLP

Hi, I'm new in XDA but I have been reading a while, Thanks to all developers and testers

I have an skyrocket and I trying to use a lollypop ROM. While I was reading about it I found how to change the partitions of my skyrocket to have a system partition from 568mb to 1.2gb. So I did it.

1.- Start the skyrocket in Download mode
2.- Using Odin 1.85 re-partition with the PIT file from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s2-tmobile/development/mod-partition-internal-memory-t-989-t3051556
3.- Reboot the phone to recovery
4.- Reformat all partitions. Wipe -> Advence wipe -> Select a partition (cache/data/system/interal) -> repair or change file system (here show the old size) -> change filesystem -> select the filesystem (ext4/f2fs/fat)
5.- Install Paranoid android with tk_gapps-stock, 799mb both files.
6.- All work excelent :D

Now I'm trying to test slimlp-5.1-beta-0.6-official but I realized that after installed it the system partition changed from 1.2gb to 568mb, something that with paranoid does not happen.

Why happen this? Could be the installer? If is it then please I ask to the developers of Slim to fixed it please

External SD as system partition???

So, what I am looking for is information on the possibility of making your external sd into a system partition so when you see your free space, is not just showing a bit over a hundred MB, but all the free space on the sd card also.
Is this possible?

Why does the WiFi version have a radio.img partition?

The 2012 version did not, so I was surprised this version has it.
Out of curiosity I deleted it (fastboot erase radio), and now the device no longer boots (I see the Google logo, then it's an android with an exclamation mark).

Flashing the factory image does not fix the issue, nor does flashing the radio.img from the 3G version (razorg).

Where can I get the radio.img partition to flash for the WIFI version?

Help! --> N910T Odin PIT Partition FAIL

So my new Note 4 was in a bootloop when I bought it. So I researched and used odin with cf-autoroot and twrp to flash cyanogenmod. This fixed the bootloop.

But I want stock. So I downloaded these:

From this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/note...overy-t2902574
And then tried flashing the full firmware. It failed saying "missing pit" or something.

So I searched and apparently *.pit's for N910T are rare and the one's that have been posted by users on XDA have been removed because they were bricking.

I proceeded to search for a *.pit and found this: http://www.droidviews.com/how-to-ext...alaxy-devices/
I extracted the *.pit using adb shell when in TWRP, downloaded pit magic, and then compared my pit with another user's n910t pit in the comments.
User's PIT:

My PIT:

So seeing as they were the same if not extremely similar, I added the pit along with the full firmware and tried again on Odin.

Am I supposed to use the other firmware files and such when flashing with a pit at the same time? Like the bootloader, modem, etc.?

All I want to do is to re-partition the whole device, and "flash"/restore the stock firmware.

Thank you guys for your time reading this; sorry for my "flashing illiteracy" or what not...
