Unable to delete a file from Data partition!

There is a file on my xt1068 with path /data/data/com.google.chrome/app_webview/Cache/8f7f69bc88662934_0 .I am unable to delete this file through any method.It is not visible in es file explorer or any other file manager,i have tried deleting the folder but it fails even after providing root permissions.I have tried deleting it by wiping data partition via TWRP and CWM but both failed.I also tried deleting it using aroma file manager and TWRP's flile manager but no luck.Due to this file i can't create or restore nandroid backup.While installing any new ROM i need to go to the TWRP's file manager and i manually delete all the folder's except the one i mentioned above,to perform a clean install.I have also tried restoring to stock firmaware using fastboot but after installation of rom the file still remains there.
My TWRP always shows this message:"E:Unable to stat '/data/data/com.google.chrome/app_webview/Cache/8f7f69bc88662934_0'
Please help me with this.

How to delete sms messages on smartwatch 2?

My Smartwatch 2 connected with Xperia T, and they work great together. However, I can't find a way to delete old text messages from the messaging app on the watch. If with the message just received and viewed on sw2 or phone then can clear sms right, go to the SmartWatch 2 application on phone> My apps > Messaging > Clear history.. But if so many sms on sw2, I can't delete the sms. 1 day I get about 30 sms messages, but I can not delete them. If you want to delete the sms then I must reset sw2. Can anyone help please? Thanks!

Cant delete backups / Memory Full

Hi, Im new to this device but right after I got it I did the right thing and voided my warranty :) Rooted and installed a custom recovery. The recovery has been a bit of a pain but that is a story for another thread.

The problem I am having is that when I try to take a backup from recovery it errors (I forget the error, sorry. ) however the backup is still right there in the backup directory. I tried a second attempt at a backup (to see if it would error again) and these two backups filled my remaining memory. lI of course used my file explorer to delete these extraneous backups-- only to see that they are not deletable. I also tried on the PC. The folder lists read and write in the permissions. I am kind of at a loss as to what to do. IIRC correctly from a while back with this issue the answer lies somewhere in CHMOD, but I cant quite seem figure it out. CD to the directory in a terminal emulator and then CHMOD 777? Thanks for your help in advance.

Continue with next email after delete one

I used samsung stock email app since s2. I was able to view the next email after deleted unwanted email. But with s6, it will exit to the main page. I need to click the next email which is extra step and kind of annoying. I can't find any setting to solve this problem. Anyone knows how to solve it besides change to another email app

How to delete system files while i'm rooted?

Hello everyone, i have a rooted phone GT-I8262 and i used to delete the system apps before by ES Explorer or root explorer, though i'm now facing a problem with a file that i can't delete, it says you have no permission to do it, this app is called (DU battery saver) each time i uninstall it from my phone and restart the phone, it shows me that black screen after the boot logo which is (android is upgrading) so after i open the phone, i see that (Du battery saver) is installed once again.. i had to go to the system files apps folder and couldn't find it there, so i found it in another directory in DATA/APP folder, so i tried to remove it by 2 kind of file explorers like ES and root explorer and after giving them the permission of root. but i couldn't remove it, is there any way to remove such protected apk files?

Help: Rooted tablet but can't delete file in /system no matter what I do.

I rooted my strange tablet using Kingo and apparently it was succesful:

But I have been trying for days to erase a file in /system and I have not been able to do it, I think I have read every relevant thread about this problem but no luck, I tried using ES and changed /system to r/w in the root options but when trying to delete the file all I get is operation failed, the same happens with all the other root explorers and tools. but still can't delete it.

Also the app root toolkit for android gives me this weird error too:

[HELP] Cant delete backup

I have a rooted m8 and I went into recovery aand made a backup which was around 7gb but I can't find out how to delete it.

I delete some system apps for example Google plus, youtube, maps. I used titanium backup for this. But now I still have the shortcuts in the menu

i am using 5.0.1 stock rom sense 6 and when i go into the file manager and i want to delete something or to move 2 files or more it say's

please select your sd card first i select my sd card and then it says documents has stopped mpla mpla and at the at bottom it say's Authorization it fails

does anyone had this before ? on other custom rom's i didn't had this problem and anyway it wasn't asking for to choose my sd card

I'm using G530H running on lollipop 5.0.2. I think I'm a fan of sony's stock gallery and I don't think having both of sony and samsung stock gallery in my grand prime would be efficient. How to disable Samsung Text-to-Speech and delete language files

Hi,

I use Google's TTS engine, so I thought I could disable Samsung's and get rid of the language files it has downloaded.

Sadly, I can't seem to find the application on the list of installed applications under Application Manager. In fact, I don't know what it's called.

Also, I don't know the location of the language files.

Any help would be appreciated.
