Screen replaced cant disable backlight

I broke my phone screen digitizer/LCD/frame and replaced it with ebay one.

My phone booted up and working good but i cannot to disable the button backlights next to home button. it worked like a stock phone, my phone rom and 3rd party software has no control over backlight. any idea what i've missed ?
