crDroid is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device also attempting to bringing many of the best features existent today. We're mainly based on CyanogenMod so use custom kernels compatible with them!

Here you can find a quick "how to" reach all crDroid custom features. Many of those features also have sub settings, so go into them and check!

Installation Instructions

First time installing crDroid to your Zenfone 2, or coming from another ROM?

• This ROM is made ONLY for the Asus Zenfone 2 (ZE551ML Model)


• Make sure your Bootloader is unlocked and you're running the latest TWRP


• Copy GApps and crDroid zip to your internal SDCard


• Boot into Recovery


• Flash crDroid zip


• Flash GApps zip


• Flash SuperSU (not mandatory. We have CyanogenMod su access inside)


• DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET


• Reboot


• Don't restore Apps using Titanium Backup!
  

Update Instructions

Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:

• Copy crDroid ZIP to your internal SDCard


• Boot into Recovery


• Flash crDroid zip


• Reboot
