I would really be grateful if somebody solves below puzzle for me :
1. I have 2 tablets ( Digiflip Pro Et 701) which is very uncommon model ( Local manufacturer - No custom ROM/stuff available and no Warranty).
2. I upgraded both to KitKat after which one is functioning well while Other has stopped charging when it is on ( Plugged in, not charging ). I am sure this is a firmware issue as many other users are also facing it. I have to switch it off in order to charge it.
3. Last night, luckily I found a guide to root them and it worked - Both of them are now rooted.
4. I am thinking ( Please correct me if I am wrong ) that if I backup ROM/Kernel on the functioning one and restore it one the dysfunctional one, the issue would resolve itself. However, there is no CWM/TWRP available to do this ( I have installed BusyBox on both successfully - Not sure if that helps ) Please also let me know if I need to migrate both ROM and Kernel or just Kernel will do?
5. I am a beginner - can you please guide me? I am really hoping some of you experts will look at this thread :)
