Hi XDA,
I really need help. Today I tried to root my new S6 (SM-G920W8, Rogers as provider) using a video (which I apparently can't link, but is titled "How to Root the Galaxy S6 (Safe & NO Loss of Data)" by C4Etech), which ironically turned out to be not that safe. I followed the instructions precisely, but despite seeing a 'PASS!', it got stuck in a bootloop. Thankfully, I can still access TWRP recovery mode, as well as the blue download mode.
I have the latest version of TWRP (2.8.7.1) loaded on my phone, but when trying to restore it I stupidly deleted the OS. Now, this would be fine, as I should be able to flash the stock 5.0.2 ROM, right? Wrong.
I am using Odin 3.0.4 as well as also trying 3.10.7, but when trying to load the ROM via AP method, I get "Write NAND start", followed by "FAIL!" I also once tried checking off the Re-Partition box, which then left me with "the specified file could not be read".
Digging around on the forums, I wasn't sure if perhaps it was because I was trying to install 5.0.2 onto a 5.1.1 device, but I couldn't find a 5.1.1 version of a Rogers SM-G920W8 stock firmware. School is tomorrow and I definitely can't let my parents find out that I messed up my phone please XDAdevs, I'm begging you help a newbie flasher out!
