Coming from a Note Edge to Xperia. Little help needed.

So I-ve never had a Sony phone . So I have a few questions I-d love answered.
Im thinking of getting the z5 ultra next month and skipping the note 5.
a) do european sony phones usually get rooted ?
b) Is Selinux set to permissive ?
c) Do you get updates in a timely fashion ?
