Rooting Process for S4

I am totally new to rooting. I need to remove built in apps on my Samsung S4 i9505. Doors I have to root the phone first and remove apps after with Titanium back up app? Or can I remove apps without rooting? Please help

How to avoid the sign up process to Hulu on fire TV?

Hi,

Yesterday, I noticed that if I follow the instructions on screen. I can sign up a Hulu account. finally, the billing will be charged from the credit card which is attached to my fire TV's account.

Because I just want to watch Netflix, I am afraid my son will sign up a Hulu account. How to avoid this case?

Teamwin Logo comes and Dissapears and this process continues after factory resseting

my mini s3 was with lolipop rom downloaded from maclaw.pl and i factory reset it
and when it restarted the teamwin logo appears an goes
again appears and goes
i too tried clock work recovery but the screen goes blank after samsung boot logo appears after flashing cmw
please help me

Cancel "Installing the latest software" process at reboot

I had just finished rooting a FireTV, and after executing Towelroot and SuperSU I walked away from the TV for a few minutes. To my dismay, when I returned the FireTV had rebooted itself and was displaying "Installing the latest software." I quickly unplugged it...Seems the process I used to block the Amazon domains on my ASUS router (using the firewall feature), didn't work. Now I'm at a point where every time I boot the FireTv, I see the black and white Amazon logo, and then "Installing the latest software." I thought that Alt+PrtScr+i would break it out of this loop, but I can't seem to get it to work. Is there a trick to it when the FireTv is in this "Installing the latest software" state?

Is anyone aware of a method of canceling the "Installing the latest software" process at reboot? I do not have customer recovery installed. I was on stock 51.1.1.0, rooted, with SU, and the FireTv decided to try and update itself. I'd really appreciate any help or ideas you have to salvage root.

Fiddled around with USCC Galaxy S6: Boot Loops, process com.google.process.gapps...

1. TWRP is up
2. baseband G920R4TYU2BOF7/HW version G9020R4.02
3. No Mods
4. Rooted

So I tried flashing the Vader ROM, I was getting boot loops at the language selection screen. I go back and restore from backups my original stuff. Boot back up and now I'm getting the lovely "process.com.google.gapps has stopped" error. I'm assuming that I may need to find gapps for 5.1.1? I also tried flashing XtreStoLite ROM with the Aroma add on. Everything seemed to be working great with the exception of the data and no signal, which I am to assume is because I'm not using the correct carrier-specific stuff.

Go to download the stock ROM for my phone, and I keep getting an error as well. Odin won't flash it. One thing that I noticed is that the stock rom was 5.0.2 where when I got the phone 3 days ago it came with 5.1.1.

At this point, I'd like to be able to get it back to stock if possible. I jumped the gun and started flashing all sorts of things without checking to see if it would even for with a USCC galaxy s6. Any help would be much appreciated.

HAM2 CM12 Reversal Process Question

I've been thinking about reversing the CM12 install so I can play with the B320 or B321 updates. The problem is, I'm not certain of the reversal process. Do I have this right?

1. flash B148 via the dload method


2. FLash B309 via the dload method


3. Flash the B320 via the dload method

I'm sure I must be missing interim steps. Could someone list out the necessary steps?

How do you permanently change the OOM Priority of a process?

If you use one of various android application managers, you can see the OOM Priority of an app. This determines what process is killed by the LMK when the minfree limits are met. How do you change the OOM Priority permanently? For example, you could set your Facebook app to be lower priority than your Chrome app, and then Facebook would always be forced closed before Chrome.

All,

Please find attach the native Windows RT binaries for ProcessHacker 2.36. Includes all the plugins.. as well as the 'extra-plugins' that are not normally released.
I've had to rebuild my dev environment recently, so the kernel driver appears to be having an issue -- consider this a beta release until I get this fixed.
