Current Permanent Desktop UA Method (Lollipop 5.1.1)?
I know this question probably gets beat to death over generations......
My last phone was the Note 2 & I was simply able to use the Csc "Enable Desktop As Default" to get permanent desktop view. But with my Note 5 the Csc string does not work all the time, it's driving me nuts as I hate mobile view.
Is there another method (hopefully simple) that works for Lollipop besides running xposed? I've searched on & off for days & couldn't find an answer. Just messing around & tried "<CscFeature_Web_SetUserAgent>Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/38.0.2125.102 Safari/537.36</CscFeature_Web_SetUserAgent>" but no luck.
Before anyone wastes their time replying..... I'm looking to enable permanent desktop view for the stock browser, not Chrome or any other 3rd party browser. Please no replies regarding about:useragent or about:debug.
N920T rooted w/ jovy's stock deodexed ROM.
Thanks

(LG G STYLO) Permanent Unlock Issue
So I've been waiting to permanently Unlock my LG G STYLO, however when I go to device Unlock app, it says my device is not compatible to try again later or contact customer service. Turns out I can't have my phone rooted and ask for a permanent unlock. I know its just so I can switch carriers. Did anybody find another way to unlock your phone with root? I have metropcs.

[Q] Permanent brick? :(
Hi guys,
I'm quite a noob here, and I know you'll all probably say: hey, if you don't know what you're doing, just don't do it. I know that now, but I'm afraid it's to late :( I have been interested in rooting my Note 4 since a long time and today I finally did it and now I'm screwed...
So I have an international Note 4 (SM-N910F), running on 5.0.1. I rooted it and everything looked fine until I tried to install Xposed Framework. Now I knew in advance that there was a chance of getting stuck into a boot loop but on this forum (and others) it looked like it was quite easy to solve that problem by restoring the stock ROM, which I did.
I tried everything else:
- wipe cache partition
- wipe Dalvik cache
- wipe data/factory reset
- restore custom ROM
- did the CF-auto root again
I'm really desperate. Please don't go to hard on me for trying stuff I should stayed away from. If it gets solved I will never stick my noobish nose in these things again... :(
Please help

S-Off and Permanent Root for Verizon 4.4.2 that's not absurdly priced?
So guys, I've rooted and put custom recoverys on every Android phone I've ever had. And before my girl got the M8 I read it could be rooted. However, no words can express my disappointment when I discovered that the only way to fully root the phone, is a whopping (1/4 the price of the phone?!?!) service. Not only that expensive but also usable on the one exact phone. Can't use it on any others.
Was my research accurate that the only way to fully root this phone is to shell out ? I remember the paid methods only being for those who didn't want to do it the manual way back when I rooted my past Androids.
I'm aware of Weak sauce, but that only roots it after boot. And it doesn't S-Off. Which Xposed needs.
It's not like I'm against supporting developers. I've supported various devs in the past. It's just is insane to me.

[Q] possible permanent soft-brick tf700t
So, I just managed to get the Bootloader unlocked, flashed CWRM and then accidentally hit the factory reset button from the system settings menu, and am now stuck in the reset recovery screen.
I have access to adb but not fastboot. I have not done anything with NVFLASH
Am I permanently screwed for this motherboard or can I still be recovered?
