Open an app directly into Pop-up View?

I'm trying to find a direct way to have an app launch directly into a Pop-up View, rather than having to open the app and use the swipe gesture or recent apps function to switch the app into the smaller view.
Is there some intent or activity I can link to a shortcut on my Home Screen that can accomplish this?
I have root and Tasker available, if there's a way to usetthose to make it work.

Switching open apps

Using Android 5

When switching apps from one to another, the one being switched to reloads.
Is it possible to stop this from happening?
I want the app I switch to, to be in the same state it was at the time I switched away from it.
No reloading, unless I explicitly tell it to reload.

OH1 kernal open source code available

Maybe I am missing something. I know we have been waiting for Samsung to release the source for the OH1 kernal files. I stumbled across this on Samsungs website. I am not a developer but it looks (to me at least) like what we have been waiting for. Could some one that knows what they are doing, check it out. The file on the bottom appears to be the OH1 open source file. Thanks.

i have a Lenovo K3 Note.I was trying to root it with Flash Tool but something went wrong and now it doesn't turn on....i tries to put it in recovery mode but it doesn't do it neither.....help please

[Q] How to unbrick ZTE OPEN?

Hello all,

I'm trying to flash a customized B2G image onto ZTE OPEN device. Unfortunately, I got something wrong and now the device is bricked. Here's what I've done:

1. Build the B2G system. I got userdata.img and system.img here
2. Use NandDL_firefox.exe to flash the images. It prompted me to provide partition.mbn and partition_zte.mbn. Seems I used the wrong files (not for ZTE OPEN)

Now I can neither boot the phone nor enter recovery. When I connect the device to Linux, `lsusb` says:

Bus 004 Device 005: ID 05c6:9008 Qualcomm, Inc. Gobi Wireless Modem (QDL mode)

I don't know what's the next step to unbrick it :(

G4 unable to autoconnect (happens for all open WiFI, says 'internet unavailble')

With any open WiFi hotspot, (with captive login or not).
Even G4 saved the network, next time it won't autoconnect
there is an error message below the nextwork saying:
"internet is unavailable, cannot autoconnect"

But if you tab it manually, it will connect and fine. I tested it with multiple hotspots and all have the same problem. I tried all different ways like delete the networks and re-add, nothing works.

Any of you have same problem and is there a solution, this is yet another ridiculous problem LG4 has and not fixing it, who are they to decide internet is available or not on a wifi hotspot?

First of all sorry if by any chance I am opening a new thread in the wrong section. But as a new user iam not allowed to post in the original devs post. I flashed this rom and gapps and everything seems ok (this is my first time flashing a custom rom ). My issue is that with the stock rom rooted (5.0.2 xt1068) I had about 430-470mb of ram free at idle with no recent apps open and after flashing this rom iam having quite poor ram management about 280-300mb of free ram. Is that normal? Also already wiped dalvik cache and restart a couple of times. Thanks in advance.

Hello! I'm looking for a software /patch /mod that connects automatically to free Wi-Fi Internet when I'm walking and vibrate when it does so!
Do you have any idea of any?
I am travelling ALLOT internationally so Internet is so expensive in roaming.

What is AOSP?
AOSP is Android as Google publish without other modifications. More or less AOSP is the Nexus devices stock rom without gapps.
Anyway to get a working system I added some changes from CodeAurora Forum and CyanogenMod. I added also 3 non-AOSP features for a better user experience (Advanced Reboot, "Clear All" button in Recents and an option to delete screenshots from the notification area) and I'm NOT going to add something other.

Tablet not open ( ı deleted custpack files)

I have vodafone smart tab 3g (alcatel pixi 3 7'' 3g). I rooted tablet and delete custpack folder and my tablet is showing ''powered by android'' and showing black screen.
Tablet has two custpack folder

XL always open but closing

I gave my phone to service last night and brought it last week.motherboard and battery were changed.but when I open the phone several time the message says" phone is shutting down" again and again and power off.I flashed stock firmware but again problem appeared.is it battery or motherboard problem what is your opinion ? thanks and sorry my english:p

Firefox Like Open in Native App Button In Google Chrome

I have searched a lot on google and xda but have not found this.

If you use firefox for android you can see a small android icon in the status bar which can be used to open the native android app associated with the url.

Is there something similar in chrome for android? I searched a lot but didn't find any.

Is this feature available in built or as an add on in chrome?
