HELP: kodi stuck in "working" when trying to generate list of movies or tv shows

Hi all,

I'm rather new to Kodi and my amazon fire TV. It came pre installed with everything so I never had to tamper with it until now.

About a week ago I noticed that when I go into for example 1channel -> movies or TV shows , then try to go into one of the sub categories such as "date released", "date added", or when I do a "search", that it would just be stuck with the logo "working" on the bottom right corner of the screen.

Now the shows that I've added to my Favorite list still works. When I go into them the links show up, and it streams.

I've tried searching for this on Google but didn't come up with much. I decided to update Kodi to 15.2 via the FIle Manager method (so I don't have to use a computer), Kodi is now updated but the issue didn't go away.

This problem doesn't just exist with 1channel, but also icefilms, phoenix, xkmovies etc.

Note 4 Blocked Packages List

This is my blocked packages list, used with the Debloater app from @gatesjunior. At the moment, Im up to 141 blocked packages. Everything works. However, depending on your personal preference, you might want to unblock some of these. Things like SFinder, QuickSearchBox, and others are blocked here, as I dont personally use them at all.

This fully disables Knox as well, in case your wondering.

Samsung Gear Live OTA list?

Is it possible to update directly to the latest firmware LCA43 for the gear live? Or do I have to update sequentially through all the updates. As well, I can't seem to find all the stock OTA files for the updates if I have to update in order. So help locating the OTA files would be helpful :) thanks

favorite contacts list has always been stuck in grid view. After the 5.1.1 update i was hoping it would it to be changed to list view. Guess not. The s6+ and note5 do have it in List View. My hate for Samsung continues.

List of phones with released drivers

Hi. I've been thinking that people who wants to buy a new phone should now first if there are free drivers, open recovery, etc.

Obviously, this info can be found in each smartphone forum, but maybe there should be a place where all this info collide.

I mean, a document (maybe in google docs) with:

Name of the phone --------------------- bootloader----------------Root---------------------Recovery--------------drivers (camera, processor).

This is a question that is constantly evolving and is dificult to be up to date.

For example, for the LG G3 D855, the bootloader is not open (but it is bumped, so we can achieve root, and use an open recover). However, AOSP roms aren't completely functional, because drivers for the camera aren't open.
Maybe this document is improvable, but my knowings aren't so vast. Let me know.

I think it could be useful to be following this documet up.

No Network Operator List and No Connection

Phone specs out of the way first: GT-i9300, Android 4.3 (via OTA), sim unlocked, not rooted, Baseband i9300UBUGNF1, Kernel 3.0.31-2320216, and the IMEI matches the frame.

So I've got a problem that's very similar to a lot of other people with one or two exceptions. I get the "Mobile Network Not Available" error message and I've tried the suggested fixes except for the Ariza patch and I haven't tried changing my modem. I don't want to jump into either of them yet because I'm not sure my problem is the same as all the others. Here's why:

When I go to set the network manually via Settings > More Networks > Mobile Networks > Network Operators > Wait till your device is searching for operators. Once the search is done it will show a list of Network Operators ... Nope, not mine. Mine shows nothing and goes right back to the menu showing Search Networks and Select Automatically. Tapping Search Networks brings the same result. If I set the Network Mode on the previous menu to GSM only, it takes less time to search, but still returns nothing.

Also, I don't have any bars. Not as in having bad signal, but as in there is no signal strength indicator in the status bar. Instead, I have a circle with a line through it next to the battery level indicator. I can not even make emergency calls with the phone.

I haven't found anyone with this particular problem yet, even though I've been searching all day. Perhaps I'm not searching for the right thing?

I've tried an old ATT sim and an active GivMobile sim, both with the same results. Both sims will register networks on other phones. I started out on 4.1.2 and did the OTA updates to get to 4.3 with no change in symptoms. I did a factory reset before doing the updates. I've never had a custom ROM on the phone. The IMEI doesn't show up as blacklisted on any site I used to check it. I even went as far as replacing the SIM card reader.

Could my antenna be bad? Could I have the wrong modem for the networks I'm trying to get onto? Any opinions or direction would be greatly appreciated.

need a favor - list of default apps that show up in Google Play

Hello, for some reason my Moto E XT1527 is having an issue with the Google Play store recognizing apps that came installed with the phone. That means I have to search for each one manually to check for updates and I'm sure I'm missing some of the Motorola stuff. If you have a brand new phone or know what apps were installed when you got it would you please screenshot or list them all here. A factory reset does not fix the issue. Thanks.

Tap on screen to bring up app list not working

I use to be able to tap the watch face screen and it would bring up the list of apps on my device, contacts, etc. For some reason it has stopped working. I can swipe cards, pull the top shade down and everything else is working fine. Did something change?
