Fire Phone and Chromecast - anyone else having trouble?

Hi all, I just got a Fire Phone since they're so cheap and have set it up with 4.6.3 and google play, most things seem to be working fine, but I am having some issues with my chromecast. Most apps seem to work Youtube, Beyondpod, Crunchyroll, Play Music and the Chromecast cast screen all work just fine, but Netflix doesn't seem to recognize anything besides my roommates Fire Stick, and Hulu doesn't display the cast icon at all!

Netflix and Hulu are my two most used casting apps so losing them would be a big loss, has anyone else had issues or know of a workaround?

Is my Cube Talk 9X bricked or something else?

First of all, I most say thank you to you all for your invaluable support to all smartphone users.

I hope someone here will be able to help me with a strange problem I having with my Cube Talk 9X. Few days ago I try to apply system updates from the Tablet which wasnt successful. But instead it took me to android system recovery mode 3e with the following options below:

Reboot system now
Apply update from adb
Apply update from sd card
Apply update from sd card 1
Wipe data/factory reset
Wipe cache partition

I tried the first and the last two, all to no avail. What I can see now on the screen is just a battery sign with no other options. I dont know how to explain it, but I have made a video of it on Youtube. Please, see the link below. I will appreciate any help.

Anyone else get an update today?

I got an Android System update today, 26mb, and it tried to install it and failed...

Phone running stock, latest OTA, no root... But the bootloader is unlocked and it does have the no-force-encrypt kernel installed... Is that why it bombed?

Anyone else gotten it?

can only go to fastboot and nothing else

i think i've ****ed up my zenfone 2.
i can only go to fastboot and i can flash boot.img , droidboot.img and recovery.img
but i can't flash system.img (it says error: cannot load 'system.img') and everytime i try to go to recovery , it just freeze on asus logo and that's it.
i can't flash asus zip file (from asus site) because the size of the file is too large and i receive error.
i was using a custom rom and decided to return to stock.
how can i fix my phone?

Anyone else get the AT&T update?

My phone just got a notification that it was downloading a software update from AT&T. It then asked me to restart and now it's 50% done updating.

Just wondering what the update does? Anyone know?

SD card possibly corrupted. How else can I check?

Trying to save some sentimental photos and videos, so formatting isn't an option.

I'm wondering what other methods I can try to mount an SD card and copy the media files. I don't have a Note right now, but the card was last used on a T889 running DittoNote3.
The card hasn't worked since the phone, and I haven't had an opportunity to test it on another T889. I don't know if it's as simple as a permissions issue from using a custom ROM, or if something worse has happened.
Whenever I put the card into a full-size SD adapter and insert it in a PC reader slot or card adapter, the PC prompts to format it.
Trying to mount it on other Android phones brings up a "file system not recognized" message.
Is there another way to mount the card and retrieve the files? Anyone else with this?

Anyone else got a fuzzy screen?

Hi, I was watching 'straight outta compton' on my mobile and I noticed that whenever there is a dark scene (mostly black background), the background goes fuzzy. I also noticed it on many other videos on youtube/BBC iPlayer whilst playing 1080P. I also played straight outta compton on my other mobile and I didn't have this issue. When the background goes fuzzy in the videos it is very hard to watch and is annoying. Does anyone else have this problem?

Issues unlocking Moto E 2nd 4G LTE (XT1527) anyone else can confirm it works?

I'm having issues unlocking the boot loader on the Moto E 2nd 4G LTE (XT1527) can anyone else confirm this phone can be unlocked?

I've gone through all the steps and it tells me this is not a unlockable phone even though I know that there is a CyanogenMod port for
this model.

I'm in the US, is there anything else besides having a supported unlockable phone, that can cause them to flip you the bird when it
comes to unlocking?

I'm going to call their tech support tomorrow, but it would be nice to have a confirmation before I get on the phone with them.

No mic during calls. But mic works for everything else

just seems to have up and happened. no root/recent ota firmware done.

I can "ok google" and it picks up speech just fine. but the minute I get in a call the other party can't hear me. I can hear them just fine though.

Every time I enter settings meny and swipe down quick it lags a bit,also this happens on my brothers Z3...any way to fix this?

URGENT: Anyone else having issues with their phone recognizing fast chargers?

I just upgraded from an S6 Edge to an S6 Edge+ and I've noticed that my phone is having trouble with fast charging. When I plug it in, it simply says "Cable charging". I have to unplug it and plug it back in 3-12 times to get it to say "Fast charging". I'm using the OEM Samsung fast chargers (the one that came with my S6 Edge+ as well as the one that came with my old S6 Edge). My old S6 Edge never had an issue like this.

Is it just my phone, or is this a wide software bug on the new S6 Edge+'s? Trying to determine whether I need to swap my phone at T-Mobile for a new one. Thanks!

Has anyone else been having GPS issues?

Coincidentally (perhaps), since the last update (Stagefright patch), my GPS has been rendered almost unusable. No physical damage to the phone. Not temp rooting (if I can't run Cyanogen or custom ROM root isn't useful to me). But since then, the GPS is absolutely broken. I drive truck all day and I use my GPS A LOT so I'm not some dude just getting directions to the store. It was working great, now it's almost useless. Do apps like GPS Fix actually do something? How can they without being able to write to system? Any input is appreciated here. I don't wanna do a warranty because AT&T will just send me someone else's problem.

Simultaneous voice & data not working, anyone else?

Just noticed after theist recent update that simultaneous voice & data doesn't work anymore. Yes I have advanced calling activated. Anyone else have the same problem?

Anyone else come from the Samsung Galaxy S6 to an LG G4

So I came from an s4 to a g3 as samsung was really bugging me then when I saw an s6 on eBay at 300 notes I thought why not. I must say I am very impressed overall. If you look at my history you will see I like trying as many new phones as possible because in my opinion a phone is something you use the most in your life and I like to know I own the best one :) don't judge me.

Curiosity got the better of me (yes I know what happened to the cat) and I got a black leather LG g3 on eBay for a good price.

Now having both phones right now and watching youtube phone reviews all the time ... pocket now, mkbhd, AA, EG and johnnnnnnn v from phone arena (annoying git) etc I expected that these phones would be similar in terms of competition but to me the LG G4 is just an ugly bigger g3 and still feels cheap even with leather and when I pick the s6 up it feels a lot more premium.

I really don't like samsung at all but have been forced to accept that the s6 is really good.

I maybe missing something in the g4 and really love the screen size but now the note 5 is out that feature is no longer a 1 up.

I would really love to hear everyone's opinion if they have owned both phones or swapped and the reasons.

Weird battery issue, has anyone else had this happen?

I noticed today that my phone has maintained a 100% charge, even hours after being unplugged. I tried rebooting, but that didn't fix it. I tried to boot into recovery (I have TWRP) to see if I can wipe battery stats, but once I selected recovery, an empty battery icon appeared and the phone shut off. I tried to boot up normally again, and the phone crashed outright during the boot animation and shut off.

After a minute the phone started up by itself, and went through optimizing apps (I plugged it into a charger out of curiosity). Now that the phone was able to boot, the battery is at 5% and finally charging again.

Has anyone else had this happen with their N6, or have any idea as to what might cause this? For reference, I'm running the latest stock image (LMY48I), just unlocked, rooted, and with custom recovery.

Overheating Issue? Something Else?

Anybody know what would cause the note 4 to randomly reboot itself? I odined back to stock lollipop after being on the infamous rom and still didn't fix the issue. Could the motherboard be overheating to make it reboot? It doesn't get too hot that you can't touch it just a noticeable heat. No issues before just one day it started to randomly reboot every 4 minutes or so.
