XT1096 What to do with the latest update on a MOFO rooted Moto X running 5.1?

XT1096 rooted via MOFO. My phone keeps bothering me about the latest update (stagefright). If I try the update will it fail? Will it successfully update and get rid of root? How do I get rid of these notifications? Almost Every time I turn on my phone it is trying to get me to update. Thoughts?
