VR Goggles does not have button

I recently bought some chinese VR goggles (Baofeng Storm III) for my S4 (i9506). To be able to use most vr stuff like google cardboard you need to have the metal switch on the side which these goggles do not have. Is there anyway to remap the headset play/pause button or something like that to act like the side switch on the google cardboard?
