verizon gnex on its way i did i a search and most info is maguro, not toro

i just bought a verizon gnex on ebay as a backup.
this is a toro right?
most roms are maguro
i assume roms that say maguro will not work.
is there a toro lollipop rom ? or should i just use cm11 for toro/ xposed and call it a day?
will maguro recoveries work for toro?

do I really need f2fs I use in on nexus 7 and I think I saw a difference but I am not sure
is there a f2fs kernel that will work with toro cm 11?
