Hi ! So I'm new here and obviously am in need of some assistance. The USB port on my LG optimus l90 (d415) is malfunctioning and I've tried cleaning it and using at least five different cables. I do believe that I nearly shorted it out with a high voltage, as there are burn marks on the port, possibly inside, and shows that plastic from the back cover melted.
I know that fixing it should be my next step, but what brought me here is that there are no instruction guides on how to replace it. I've no money to send it somewhere for repair and it would cost less if I did it. My question is if there's some guide to follow to replace it, or a guide of another LG model to follow. Is it really as easy as pulling up the old one and placing down the new one ?
