Updated to OTA CM12 (it was slow)--> factory reset-->recovery loop?

So my tf300t was off for some time. It was running CM11 just fine. I turned it on and it said there was an update for cm11 and an upgrade to cm12 available. I downloaded and installed the cm11 update and decided to do the cm12 upgrade right behind it. It downloaded and installed from recovery just fine (using TWRP - not sure of version-btw) it upgraded all the apps and started up, then all hell broke loose.

I'd have to press the power button like 5 times to get the screen to come on, or it would take like 5+ seconds to do anything after i touched something on the screen, it just wasn't usable. That's when i decided to do a factory reset...and that's what screwed up my tablet.

Now, when it boots, i get the first screen with the ASUS logo and "this device is unlocked", then the linux penguins screen, then the teamwin splashscreen and that's it. It just stays on teamwin and just flashes that screen every 5-10 seconds.

I downloaded the ADB and FASTBOOT tools and tried many different commands:
adb devices = 0123456789abcdef recovery
fastboot devices = commands list
if i tell it to reboot the bootloader it just says waiting for device

Holding down power and volume down does nothing
using a pin in the reset switch and volume down does nothing
I've tried swapping out different drivers to see if that helped--no
I don't have any idea what sku my factory firmware was either.
I've searched all over for help but haven't really found anything that helped.
Does anyone on XDA have any idea on a solution???
If anyone has questions, comments, or advice, i will check this post when i can on my phone and get back to you asap, I'm working all weekend.
