I came here to ask for help.
Here's my story. I live in Colombia (South America), and 3 years ago, I bought this Xperia Tablet S 32GB. It worked well, but, after a year, it did not want to connect to Wi-Fi networks. I tried everything, flashing firmware, restart, but, then, i realized that it was a Hardware issue. So, i took it to Sony's Approved Tech Store near to my town, they fix it....
FIX IT....
When i got my tablet back, the screen was weird.. but still 100% funtional. Of course, before i had the latest sotware update from Sony 4.1.1 R5. But, when i looked, i had 4.0.3 R3. So i thought, "ok, let's update and have a root like before".
BUT it did not happen. It said "You have the latest software available" I was...OK. Maybe I could perform a factory reset.
I did, ( you must remember that i live in Colombia, when sony shipped my tablet, and had the first boot, it asked me to select a Country - CO-AR-CH-MX-VN, well, all the Latin American countries WERE there) But, after the factory reset, the two options available for me were US or CANADA....
My tablet is a WIFI-Only version, no 3G. I want to update it to 4.1.1 but i can't. I've read about changing region or something like that but i'm not sure how to do it.
Please guys, help.
