I want to root my HTC One XL. But when I try to register at HTCdev.com, I am getting a "This connection is untrusted" message. Here are the details:
www.htcdev.com uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate is unknown. The server might not be sending the appropriate intermediate certificates. An additional root certificate may need to be imported. (Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer)
I thought it might be temporary, and that the certificate would be sorted, but this has remained the same for weeks.
Is this a problem? Are other people experiencing this? Should I continue to register,or is there a real security issue?
