I have started a new thread with this to save confusion with @uncomment's great work.
Resurrection Remix v5.5.5 UNOFFICIAL-dogo has been ported from source and I have tested this myself for the last day. The usual works ie wifi, calls, messaging, settings etc...
I would like those of you who know how to test I/O-schedulers and such so i can determine what is working for dogo and what is not (also what I have done wrong) Be patient guys :o
The ROM installs smoothly and all things work as far as I can see.. In fact, It's pretty awesome!
I have done no modding of any kind (except some cherry-picking) in this and all that installs on your phone is a result of the build process inc kernel etc.
I'm new to porting but i'm willing to learn and the last week or so has been a learning curve! If anyone is wanting to try porting by themselves (I recommend you do), feel free to ask me questions and i'll put you in the right direction.

The kernel in the ROM contains CM recovery but i have made a changed boot.img that contains TWRP 2.8.7.0 here (For testing!):

Flash through fastboot/flashtool.
Also there is a Kernelflasher.zip by @shoey63 containing the boot.img described above here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3s...ew?usp=sharing
Place in your SD-card and flash through recovery (Testing only)
This ROM will be regularly updated and as I learn more, better in the future!
Install Instructions:
Place the Rom-Zip in your sd-card
Wipe caches, data and system for a clean install
flash through existing recovery
flash Gapps for LP 5.1.1
Flash supersu
Reboot and you're done
