Firefox/Chrome rendering with google search home page
Microsoft use a custom iPhone UA for IE11 mobile to display corectly webkit website like gmail.
You can change the default Firefox identification browser string.
Default Firefox 40 mobile UA : "Mozilla/5.0 (Android 5.1.1; Mobile; rv:40.0) Gecko/40.0 Firefox/40.0"
You can check your UA with this website
To get and display webkit based website, you need to change your UA to a Chrome UA
Go to "about:config", in the URL bar, and create new "string" entry named "general.useragent.override" and paste the custom Chrome 45 mobile UA below.
Custom Chrome 45 mobile UA : "Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; Android 5.0) AppleWebKit/537 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/45.0.0.0 Mobile Safari/537"
You can see the custom UA and the new Firefox google search page rendering.
Adblock
With Firefox mobile, you can use normal firefox extension, also you can install your favorite adlbocker. I use uBlock Origin.

With firefox some html5 video player don't want to play some video (mime error or incompatible browser).
If your video work on chrome mobile, use the chrome UA for firefox.
You can also enable MSE extension in the "about:config" page. Search "mediasource" like below :
