trouble mounting sd card on cm roms

i am using m8(int version) with sense based different roms nicely with s-on.
but when i want to switch to cm based roms , all is fine but no file manager seeing my sd card, setting/storage/mount sd card nothing happens after click.
seems may be kernel related?, but i dont change kernels, i just keep same and flash rom and gapps.
