Switching from Attacked kernel to something else on Moto G

Hi,

I went through multiple threads and tried a few of the methods mentioned there, but it seems I'm stuck with the Attacked kernel from this thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto...el-v1-t3074686).

I'm runing @lost101 optimized 5.0.2 ROM on my XT1034. I first installed moggy kernel which I liked, but couldn't live with the not working camera. I then installed the attacked kernel. With the experience being not as smooth as with moggy, I decided today that I wanted to go back to moggy. However, when I tried installing the kernel, the phone remains in a boot-loop.
I tried the following:
- delete system/lib/modules, wipe Dalvik cache and install moggy - boot-loop on bootloader screen
- delete system/lib/modules, wipe Dalvik cache and install stock kernel + stock modules - phone resets after reaching lock screen
- wipe Dalvik cache and install attacked again - phone works fine.

What am I missing here? Do I need to do a fresh ROM install?
