Safestrap removal question - did I screw up?

I have an Apollo that has never been allowed to upgraded beyond 14.3.1.0, it was rooted, and had Safestrap 3.72 installed, OTA blocked. When I decided to unlock the bootloader, before I uninstalled Safestrap I forgot to delete the ROM slot that I had been running in. I simply uninstalled Safestrap then went on to unlock the bootloader and install a new ROM.
Did I screw up? Did I lose space? It is a 32GB unit, but when I look at storage is says "Your Files" are 9.9GB with "Free" showing as 15.78GB. ES File Explorer shows 9.8GB used, with 25.68GB total space.

So have I lost close to 6GB by not deleting that ROM slot? Can that space be recovered?
