I have been having this problem on CM12.1 for some time. I found a temporary fix by going into mobile settings and selecting access points, but when my phone reboots, I will lose data again, and therefore the "!" shows up next to the data. I have also tried clearing cache/dalvik and it will make it work only on THAT boot, then when I reboot, same issue. I am stuck, and really need help for a permanent solution. I am using vs985, using the official CM12.1 snapshot.
