New Moto G, what first?

So my Moto G just showed up. [emoji1]

I am thinking before I insert SIM or restore any data, should probably fire it up, skip all the setup, and let it OTA to the current firmware... Then factory default and start clean. Any reason not to do that or other thoughts?
