n900v with Straight Talk Verizon SIM no data HELP!!



Help Please!!!
I purchased a used note 3 verizon n900v and a straight talk verizon sim.
it showed it would work on their website, and confirmed over the phone.
once activated the phone had 3g/lte depnding on where it was at, varying from 1 to all bars.
calls are fine but no data for internet, or mms.
I tried editing the apns, but they were grayed out.
i edited the files to enable apn changes but everytime it goes back to the default verizon.
i called st customer service and with their recommended settings now the phone has no signal or data, and to make matters worse i deleted the old apns, and when itry adding new i click save and they disappear.
what do i do?
