My Stock and never modified Galaxy S5 (SM-G900F) is literally stuck on Android 4.4.2.

Hello, sorry to bother whoever care to read this post, but I have a big concern about my Galaxy s5. I have it since April of this year and the phone has never get an update. I thought that Samsung pause or something the lollipop update because of the problems, but it has been a long time now and it still tells me that the phone is up to date to the latest version. The phone has never been rooted or flashed any rom o even official Samsung rom, so my question is, is it normal that it tells me that is updated to the latest version on Android Kit kat 4.4.2? Or there is something wrong with the phone? I don't want to flash an official rom because I never wanted to lose the option to receive OTA updates, but I apparently don't have that option even so.

Anybody knows something that can help me? I really appreciate any help you guys can provide. Thanks in advance for any answers.
