Lollipop OF3 Camera Metering Modes Broken?

I have updated from android 4.4.2 to Lollipop 5.0 OF3. In the camera app the Metering modes do not work. I can click either Center Weighted, Matrix, or Spot but it doesn't change when I am taking a picture. Also when I was on 4.4.2 when you held down to take a picture on any of the Metering modes it wold turn green and make a beep so you would know you were in focus to take the picture and that doesn't work either. Is it just me or the app? Also is there a way to extract the camera from 4.4.2 and use it on Lollipop as a last resort.?
