Just Received my G Flex 2- What to do... PR or AT&T 5.1.1 - Question and Concerns

I just received my G Flex 2 and am currently an AT&T subscriber.

I understand that the ATT rom is bloated to the gills. (Hate that)

Also, it looks to me as if ATT is completely washing their hands of this device.

This makes me really suspicious of them issuing any further updates. (6.1 and or further even)

However, I don't know if some offshoot/smaller Puerto Rican career will be diligent with future updates either.

Is there no way to get a rom straight from LG?

I was under the impression that the PR rom came straight from LG and not the PR cairier.

I would like to use this phone today, but Im apprehensive about what update to stick with.
