Hey guys, I hope you can point me in the right direction.
My son decided that he wanted to try and root his Galaxy using Odin. Nothing I would ever tell him not to do, but he is young and never fully reads through the directions of a good root process before beginning. It started off with a problem of only booting to a frozen battery icon, and never going any further. It would not even let you turn the phone completely off. It would simply reboot back to the battery sign which didn't budge. So he had the brilliant idea of trying Odin again, except this time, he left the Delete Partition checkmarked. While going through the process, his computer lost power, and of course the process was interrupted. Only now, the Galaxy Tab will not turn on at all. When we plug the tab into the computer,*Windowsstates that the USB device is not recognized. However it will let us in to the device file folder structure, although everything is empty. Is there anything that can be done with this machine, or is it simply Totalled?
Thanks for any help you can point me to.
