Flashing kernel and ROM.

When flashing a ROM and kernel is there any particular order which I should use. I will be flashing the Rhinestone kernel and it's WiFi fix as well as the RaptorRom GPE ROM and it's WiFi fix. Should I do the WiFi fixes after their perspective components, and which should I flash first the kernel or the ROM. I'm thinking kernel first, then it's WiFi fix, then the ROM, followed by its WiFi fix.
