DVI Video out...and HDMI digital Audio out?

I don't know if I am asking for black magic... but with a GTX card (GTX 770 SLI) can you use the DVI for video...but also the HDMI for digital Audio out? I am trying to hook up an AV receiver to my PC and still get 5.1 sound....which apparently is very uncommon... :/

Or...does anyone know how to get digital 5.1 audio to the damn thing? Optical and coaxial only support Stereo (2 channel)
