Downgrade from OF1 to Previous 5.0 or is new root comming

I got a used Verizon Galaxy S4 SCH-I545 that came with OF1
Is a new root method coming
Can I odin back to oc1 Android 5.0 and then root?
or is this phone so old that root makers just laugh and say i should wear a paper bag on my head sine its so old....
