Defy Mini xt320 Lollipop via ROM Manager

Hi all,

i came across this tutorial lollipopupdate.xyz, which seems to be copied a lot over the interwebs, which is explaining how to simply update the xt320 to Lollipop with a ROM Manager and CWM.

Quote:

1. Follow the download link for downloading Android 5.0 Lollipop ROM for your Motorola Defy Mini XT320 .
2. Now install completely the ROM Manager into your device. You can get that from Google Play store. Then install the clockwork mod recovery.

3. Connect the device to your PC by the USB cable. Now copy the ROM.zip file you have already downloaded into your memory drive.

4. Now restart your Motorola Defy Mini XT320 in recovery mode. You need to use ROM Manager for this operation.

5. Erase the total data including Delvik Cache from the recovery menu. After completing, come back in the recovery main menu. Then choose the Flash ROM from your memory drive. Now navigate the address where you put the ROM.zip file. It is the time when you need to follow the directions to install Android 5.0 Lollipop and to Update Motorola Defy Mini XT320 To 5.0 Lollipop. As early as the total installation is done, only reboot your Motorola Defy Mini XT320 .

...but i can't find any thread here a XDA's about this. And therr are questions which i hope somebody can anwer:

1. Can i root my defymini after this update again, or is it still rooted ?
2. Is this bootable, or does this solution needs the xt320 to be connected to a PC to boot too ? (as i came across in another thread here)
3. Is this method known to you, and is there a kind of "official" download for the Lollipop ROM ? (i wonder why everybody seems tu upload their own)

Thanks you very much for your knowledge (-:
