Camera is becoming a deal breaker

I have spent 5 hours trying to mod CameraNextMod to try and get a decent camera working for SlimKat or CM11... I have tried every combo of injecting a screen rotation and nothing helps. I even decompiled the classes.dex but I guess I just don't know enough to get this thing to flip the CameraRootView, or if that is even what might be a fix, I have no idea.
I would commission someone to work on this and have asked in a couple forums but they all seem abandoned...
Is there any hope?
