Bricked Moto E 1st Gen while trying to Flash a Custom ROM

Hello There, this is my first question as an android enthusiast so pardon any non usual jargons.

I had previously flash a CM12 ROM to my Moto E 1st Gen device and it worked great. however, slowly and steadily it became a bottleneck as i was not at all happy with the performance as compared to the Stock OS and hence i went for another ROM trial.

However, things failed miserably. I fired fastboot reboot-bootloader and wiped off everything from the command line instead of TWRP recovery, and when i say everything, it includes system as well.

Now all i see on my device is fastboot screen, and a red message showing low battery. I searched out for a solution and downloaded stock ROM as well for flashing it. But, as soon as i run the command to flash the files, it fails saying that remote failure - battery low. I have tried charging it via my charger, but it charges for a few minutes [30] and automatically starts fastboot menu and then it no longer charges.. Then when i connect it to my laptop, it charges for some time and then switches off..

I have ended with a bricked phone with nothing but a fastboot menu.. If anybody can help with this chaos, it would be a huge help.. Looking forward to responses.
