I already mentioned this in the Z3 forum but I'm thinking it's a good thing to warn more people. I hope the mods won't mind.
I bought this Snakehive cover 6 months ago for my Z3. To my despair, I realized recently that the strap and the slot inside the cover damaged my Z3 screen. You can clearly see in the images below the slot form permanently "printed" on the screen:
Note that the finger traces are made on purpose to make the issue more visible under light.
I'm extremely cautious with my phones as I tend to sell them frequently to get newer devices for a reasonable price. I never damaged the cover itself : it is quite thick and doesn't bend under pressure (it's a good quality cover actually), so the damage really just came from the phone being in contact for too long with the strap.
I contacted the cover's brand and they pretty much denied that the cover is responsible and just told me to get in touch with Sony, which will never cover it under warranty of course (it's a wear issue not a device fault).
So, beware of this kind of Snakehive covers, they can damage your phone ! :(
