'Type password to decrypt storage' PROBLEM! (Moto G XT1032)

Hello everyone,

Today I (tried to) flash a new custom ROM on my falcon.
This wasn't the first time I flashed a custom ROM, but this time it went wrong.
To start with, I accidently took a Android 4.4.2 custom ROM (link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2756571 v.0.3), but using a Android 5.x bootloader.
It flashed correctly and also booted just fine, until I got a message stating that I should enter a password to decrypt storage. My previous custom ROM was Paranoid Android 5.1 and I indeed encrypted my storage (something that I will never do again), but if I insert the password used in Paranoid Android it says 'try again'.
I searched xda-developers and some said to delete cache and user data, so that is what I did (using Cyanogen Recovery).
But deleting user data and clearing the cache didn't work. I now no longer have USB-debugging enabled and my laptop is not recognizing my phone.
I also tried ADB, but it isn't recognizing it etc.
After like 4 hours of trying and looking at forums, I am getting hopeless.

Anyone encountered this problem too (and solved it perhaps)?
I would be really greatful to get my phone working again, I have downloaded the previous ROM I had on my laptop, so I can flash it on phone once I have a solution.
For now, texting on a stone-age Samsung phone without WiFi or touch :p So I need help ASAP

Thanks!

Feronium

OTG support for USB type c

Hello

Apologies if this has been asked before. I can't find a definitive answer...

Has anyone managed to get access to an USB memory stick on the OnePlus 2 actually working?

I've just received my OnePlus 2 and have rooted it etc. I have bought a couple of USB type C to USB A female sockets, both claiming to support OTG. However, neither of them appear to work. I've tried with a number of different USB sticks, some of them with indicator LEDs on them. When plugging them in, the LED indicator stays off and there is no extra drive in settings/storage, even after ticking the OTG check box.

I have booted to TWRP recovery and tried to mount the OTG storage. The phone vibrates and the check box immediately disappears...

I'm not sure if I'm missing something here!

The two items I have tried are:
1. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00VGF2UPQ
2. http://m.belkin.com/uk/p/P-F2CU036/

Thanks for your time

Dan

[Q] Which type of brick am i working with?

OK so i have a bricked D800. I have been reading through thread looking to get it unbricked. For the different types of bricks they were working with and the ones described i'm still in confusion as to which one i have.

Symptoms:

Fastboot the device appears in the device manager as "Fastboot Interface (Google USB ID)"

In download mode it comes up under 'modems' with the label "LGE AndroidNet USB Modem"

also when its in download mode it appears under 'Ports (COMs &LPT)' with the label "LGE AndroidNet USB Port (COM41)" i set it to COM41.

Also Fastboot does not execute any command.

It enters download mode with a "secure booting error"

Thankful for any help you provide.

"Original" Wallet type case

So I stumbled upon a pretty particular case on ebay. It has the OnePlus logo and closely resembles the wallet case for the OnePlus 1 and its super cheap, .92 and comes in 5 different colors.
