Issues rooting and Downgrading. Factory Reset Status 2.

I got my LG G3 yesterday night and I tried rooting it for hours, I was on Andrioid 5.0.1 and couldn't get it to work after 6 hours of trying so this morning I tried to downgrade back to stock firmware and now everytime I try I get the Factory Reset Status 2 screen and I am told to just remove the battery and it'll boot but nope it just goes back to the same screen. This is becoming a nightmare I have tried multiple PC's Operating Systems, drivers, firmware files, and multiple tutorials and I cannot fix this.

I think the issue is when the phone reboots instead of being a COM port it becomes a MTP device so LG Flash Tool can't find the device.

I really need help, I didn't plan on spending the whole day trying to fix this but it seems I am going to have to.

Anyone has any idea what those damn 2 red bars are? I can't find out what they are. Help

Help Rooting status : Unknown

Can somebody help me ? I buy this phone with 2nd condition

I have been having this problem on CM12.1 for some time. I found a temporary fix by going into mobile settings and selecting access points, but when my phone reboots, I will lose data again, and therefore the "!" shows up next to the data. I have also tried clearing cache/dalvik and it will make it work only on THAT boot, then when I reboot, same issue. I am stuck, and really need help for a permanent solution. I am using vs985, using the official CM12.1 snapshot.

Bricked G3 stuck at "Factory Reset Status"

When using LG Flash Tool to flash a .tot file, everything went smooth till it boots MiniOS and Shows the blue screen "Factory Reset Status"

Now I can't seem to get beyond this level

I check that it's COM41, using the original cable, plugged to a USB 2.0 port, rebooted PC, etc, but it's stuck at "Waiting For connection when trying again".

Can anyone help me boot successfully?

Status bar icons

Is there a way to have the stock android status bar icons back? Imho LGs icons are not very attractive. I would really like to have the solid icons back.

We know LG is using layers to theme certain aspects, ive installed layers manager but could not locate the layer responsible for the icons.

Is there something im missing?

I've rooted my Samsung Galaxy Note Edge (SM-N915F) and found that Current Binary, System Status and Knox Warranty Void has been changed.

I can reset these with TriangleAway by Chainfire on older Samsung devices, but is it possible to do that on this phone?

How to get region lock status?

Hello. I want to get region lock status on Galaxy A5. I live in region which allow me to work, but what if I will move. I need to know what networks are locked and what not. I tried to edit customer.xml unfortunately I don't know how to get lock status. Maybe some AT command, or shell command, or internal api... Thanks very much.

[HELP] Rooting status unknown

Hi everyone... I've unlocked the bootloader, installed cm12.1
But I had to flash factory ftf back and did it. Now the rooting status is unknown and the simcard is not recognized, no network signal at all...
Can someone know a fix?

Battery status page accuracy?

How accurate is the battery usage page on the Pure? This is with 1hr 50 minutes of SOT @ 50% brightness and adaptive screen enabled.. Kind of hard to believe that only 5% of the battery was used by the screen.

[Q] Hide Status Indicator Icons Using Root?

Is it possible using root to somehow hide or remove the status indicator icons (e.g., priority, disconnected) on an android wear watch?
These icons really ruin the look of watch faces when they're on, especially with an always screen on enabled watch.

It's kind of difficult to determine where the T-Mobile variant stands with 5.1.1. I know that root is obtainable and that Knox tripping can be avoided, but the caveat is that the fingerprint sensor is disabled.

Does anyone know if that has changed? I'm rooted on 5.0.2, everything unlocked, and I'm using it on AT&T. I want to be able to update to alleviate the RAM issue, but I want to keep root, the fingerprint sensor, and eventually be able to use Samsung Pay etc.

i did a search but cant seem to pin a how too

I want to be abled to always show even if status bar is transparent over top of a game playing so I can see what the wifi and battery is doing

I know can slide finger down. but it auto hides..


1) how can you change the time out of that

2) turn it auto hiding again..even if its finger swipe up


I search xposed modules but onyl found one that changes colour of clock and adds battery percentage

but nothing there to always show e.g. in full screen

if theres a module or app that edits build pro easily so can turn off and on would be great

Separate controls for status bar, sound, and LED notifications

I can't find a more specific place for this question, so here goes.

I'd like to be able to control whether an app, such as BBM or WhatsApp, has notifications in the pull-down panel, without affecting the sound or LED notifications. I know it's easy enough to turn off ALL notifications for an app; and there are utility apps for controlling things like LED colors. But I haven't found any app that allows me to have ONLY sound and LED, but nothing in the notification panel. I don't think Tasker can do it either.

It's it even possible?
